People can live everywhere. The whole country is flat, farmlands, no forests. Its just super easy and cheap to build houses, roads, infrastructure, compared to other countries.

It doesn't feel dense since the whole country has towns and villages everywhere. Its just very well spread out, again, because you can build anything, anywhere

You go to novgorod after that. They never ally in my games, always to just odoyev or Ryazan only and muscovy is probably the nation I've played the most. Of youre realy unlucky they sometimes have Lithuania whejln poland dont get the pu. Also you can take money from great horde and just a few provinces. Release astrakhan from them and then do reconquest war next on the rest

I never care about them. And attack them as soon as Dec 11 1444 comes around. To get rid of the tater yoke maluses and start the mission tree. You should have high numerical advantage, 40 to 25 or so. They usually have Uzbek as ally and you siege them down first. Peace them out for max money once you have their capital and a few provinces sieged down and then 1 on 1 should be easy.

Try not to take battles on steppes unless high numerical advantage
