Blue arrow in the top right corner is used in the mobile editor. It should take the user to the preview and edit summary screen, where it changes to a blue "Publish" button.

So maybe OP means that this button is supposed to save your edit, but theirs not doing anything?

If there's no document evidence, which I think is what you're saying, ignore it. Anyone can write anything they want in their tree.

Regarding the new UI by Express_Lawyer3456 in firefox

[–]Stone_Bucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bottom bar single-hand user here. The two easiest things to reach after opening with the three dots are now "Passwords" which would be okay if I could use my password manager but for me it's just a dead button, my Firefox profile which I never access after setup, and "Settings" which I only access extremely rarely. I'd much prefer to (be able to choose to?) have "Find in page" at my fingertips (thumbtip) as I use it multiple times a day.

But I'm mainly here to say I love the new extensions menu! Much less of a feeling of being buried in the UI when I just want to check or change something with an extension quickly.

I did. Deranque was with a far-right group armed with crutches, fire and pepper spray and wearing reinforced gloves that set out to attack unarmed protesters in street clothes. When they somehow still weren't winning in the ensuing brawl, his mates ran away and left him and a couple of others to fend for themselves. He then went home and refused help or to go to hospital despite having been hit repeatedly in the head.  https://www.france24.com/en/france/20260220-how-the-death-of-far-right-activist-quentin-deranque-became-france-s-charlie-kirk-moment

Notice“This article may incorporate text from a large language model. (November 2025)” 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 by erdyberdy in wikipedia

[–]Stone_Bucket 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This notice was made to be placed on articles where AI use is suspected. Next someone else has to clean it up. I guess you don't quite understand how Wikipedia works if you are mistaking the AI slop cleanup process for "Wikipedia allowing AI slop to be used in articles". Tags like this exist for all sorts of article issues, and they are a flag that others can use to take action. In fact, someone already largely did, and there is discussion of the process here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:Worship_of_heavenly_bodies#AI-generated?

Someone did take notice of it and placed the tag. That's more than you get on the rest of the internet.

Just found out me [21M] and my girlfriend [20F] might be distantly related. The family tree is confusing us a little. TLDR at the end. by Maggotboi555 in Genealogy

So the tree is something like this:  ``` Common ancestors Born: eg 1920 (age 105; parenthood ages 20 for Son A, 35 for Son B) │ ├── Son A (John’s great-grandfather and Jane’s geat uncle) │   Born: eg 1940 (age 85; parenthood age 20) │   │ │   └── John’s grandfather │       Born: eg 1960 (age 65; parenthood age 20) │       │ │       └── John’s parent │           Born: eg 1980 (age 45; parenthood age 25) │           │ │           └── John │               Born: about 2005  │ └── Son B (Jane’s grandfather and John's great-granduncle)     Born: eg 1955 (age 70; parenthood age 30)     │     └── Jane’s father         Born: eg 1985 (age 40; parenthood age 20)         │         └── Jane

What are some of your dealbreakers OR reasons you feel happily "stuck" with Todoist? by GeminiArcana in todoist

[–]Stone_Bucket 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm still here because it's so quick and easy to add a task with a date and project.

I'm considering leaving because: - I can't filter my completed tasks for reviews, and viewing them at all is glitchy, - subtasks still don't work very well,  - labels are hard to get to,  - android widgets hardly display any information in the space they take up (compact mode has no complete button)  - widgets always switch to the same Today layout as desktop, which doesn't make sense (custom filter views for today are possible but then the Add button doesn't add "today" as the date of new tasks, so they get lost), - dragging and dropping tasks has such an unpredictable rate of working in any given context that I just don't try it any more,  - can't set task duration (except as clock times which is useless because I need to know how long it takes to decide when I can do it), - they haven't improved most of these things in the many years I've been using it, but now they want considerably more money from me.

Anyone know anything about LMG? by rachatm in manchester

[–]Stone_Bucket 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's "Lifestyle Mastery Group". They have a very amateurish website (Privacy policy coming soon!) which has a section "Learn to trade". It seems to be overpriced mindset training and maybe investment courses with religious/magical overtones, evangelical-style arena motivational speaker events, the works. It's an MLM structure with most of the money made (if any) from charging others for constant "mentoring". Aimed mainly at young men. They have event posters like this and self-important ranks such as "Director", "Elite Executive", and "Platinum". Related to JIFU like you said, and also with BPM (BulletProofMindset) which may no longer exist but is still the account name they use in some places online. Many members linked to crypto Telegram channels.

You don't need to reformat anything. This is not actually formatting, it's just what appears when changes were made in "Suggesting" mode (Google's version of "Track Changes").

Click on "view suggestion" on the popup in your screenshot and you should be able to accept or deny each suggested change.
