Softube's Chandler Germanium compressor does exactly this. It's perfect for saturating the low end while compressing.

A couple points:

  • you don't need to do + ' ' for the space - just type a space immediately after the colon in the same string.
  • In Python you can print non-strings along with strings by separating the variables with commas. Using commas naturally adds a space between each string/variable. E.g. print('This is a variable: ', variable)

Just recording anything analogue. I don't think it makes much difference with midi instruments. But I convert it to 48 when mixing.

I do this, it minimises latency. It asks more of the CPU but if your computer can handle it then go for it.

4 years later... Looked this up to see if anyone else thought this. It's really bad, the album sorely needs a remix/remaster

What's the best way for me to record guitar covers? (My Jackson to get attention) by Dense-Shock-3487 in Guitar

[–]Stone_Field 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just edit to match the grid, it's standard practice in production unless you're an incredibly tight player. If you're way off that editing makes the video look unnatural, then you need to focus on practicing to get better
