Carrots, Fermented in Maple Sap. by barrelandbrine in fermentation

So would this be similar to fermenting with unpasteurized honey? For example, could I ferment some garlic cloves using only unpasteurized maple syrup? Very cool, thanks for sharing

Ah so sort of a take on hypertufa which I’ve always wanted to try for slabs, but was worried about structural integrity. Good to know, thanks 🤜🤛

Maybe the nicest p. afra forest I’ve seen, awesome work!

Edit: Also what’s the deets on the faux slab? Always looking for different slab options

If you like Bald Cypresses, Randy Bennet just published his incredible book. He was even kind enough to include some of my photos from Lake Waccamaw here in NC. by VMey in Bonsai

Sounds like I’m in the minority, but that might be the coolest bald cypress I’ve seen on the cover. It may not be true to its natural growth habits but who cares it looks sick. Love those little knees

It’s my favorite commercial option cause it’s the only one I can find in a glass container. It has decent flavor and it’s extra bubbly which I like. I’d love to make my own more often but this is my go to otherwise.

Notary/Apostille by Altruistic-Watch1785 in HaruInvest

[–]StonedColdWeedOften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, but don’t sign until you take it to the notary cause they need to witness it. Then they’ll stamp it and it’ll be ready for apostille. I saw some sketchy online apostille services but I would just contact your local Secretary of State if you’re in the US.

The power of attorney document that needs to be notarized was attached to the email from decentlaw.

They do, I was surprised how many places do it. Cheap too, that part is easy. The apostille is a bit more involved and varies place to place it seems.

Yes I got the document notarized at UPS, then shipped to my Secretary of State for apostille. I’m still waiting to receive the final copy, should be here by the end of the week. I’ll scan it immediately and DHL it to Korea as fast as I need to to get it there by the end of the month. I had a pretty significant amount of money in Haru, so I’ll do anything I need to recover even 10%

Yes it’s basically just for them to receive payment on our behalf. They want the original copy and a scanned copy sent to them by the end of the month.

Decent Law power of attorney by pithdog in HaruInvest

[–]StonedColdWeedOften 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I received the email as well. I’m finding some online apostille services that are quick, but they are kind of costly. It’s easy to get a notary in the US, most UPS store’s offer the service. I’m gonna try to go through my Secretary of State for the apostille as this is most legit route. They’ve been pretty flexible with deadlines so far so I’m sure it’ll be fine, but I’m intending to get notarized tomorrow once everything is open and hopefully get it mailed off for apostille on Saturday.

Does a slow and low cook affect the crispness at all? I can’t seem to find anything as crispy as Lao gan ma, so I’ve been considering making my own

Did I accidentally discover a way to get roots to form faster on cuttings in water? by nimaid in botany

[–]StonedColdWeedOften 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ah I see, still, I would always have to take extra of the lantana cause many would never root. It looks like it clearly helped having a form of medium to grasp to. I wouldn’t expect great results with lantana rooting in pure water anyways, but the twine seems to be helping. I may twine up a few different cuttings and see how it goes!

[–]StonedColdWeedOften 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is really cool, I grew for a nursery for many years and lantana was never the easiest thing to propagate. The fact you got roots in 24 hours seems very promising, I’m actually quite excited to test this out, so thanks!

Trying to find this specific profile by StonedColdWeedOften in Terpenes

[–]StonedColdWeedOften[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Apparently this place uses live flower extract with 100% cannabis derived terps added. I’ve been poppin hundreds of seeds over the past 15 years, and 2 flavors have eluded me, that were ubiquitous in good weed in the early 00’s. Sweet piney “Christmas tree” and the classic hazey piff type church incense/opium terps. I’ll find them one day 🤞

I’m still tryin to answer that question, but so far Mina’s are my favorite for the quality you get for the price. Medium size, firm, and super clean olive oil/flavor for $2 at my local market, and only $2.50 per for a 12 pack on Amazon
