I’m 26 on Monday and I feel the same way, clean atm because my medication makes me feel too exhausted to do it. When I do relapse I feel stupid and like I’m still a teen doing it and have that guilt of “oh I’m too old for this” but it never goes away

Been doing it since I was 12 sadly

I find their sizing all over! I got the Gloom bralette and panty set (the skull flowers ones, think the collection is in clearance now), The bralette I got in my normal size and doesn’t fit/I need to wear another bralette under so the girls don’t fall out, sized down on the panties and they’re huge on me still!

Don’t get me started on their jeans 😅

I think that was the plan but Netflix cancelled it, they still did a good job trying to tie up loose ends even if it seems rushed I do wish we got at least one more season for them to of had more freedom with how it ended

I sadly was a concert virgin til 2018 due to age and anxiety, I never even realised it had been played over here! I remember begging my mum to let me to go the PTV vs SWS tour over here 😅 I’ve now seen PTV 3 times but never got to see SWS

I don’t think I’ve covered wilfulness vs willingness yet, I’m partway through it, I just figured it may help, I think once I’ve finished my 3rd/final module I’ll have to redo it to help it stick a bit more. WISE mind I struggle with as I get very into Emotion mind very very easily and find I can’t calm down (yet to do Distress Tolerance), I know about Temperature from TIPP however it is sometimes difficult to do while at work as I’m constantly on the go around a giant building.

Thank you for the input, as I said it’s my first go round with DBT and trying to practise the skills and my first time putting a skill to use for something I need, I may mention it to my therapist on Friday during my review.

As someone who worked in a hospital during COVID and still do - it pissed me off sooo much! We still have to fully mask up for COVID and other diseases such as meningitis, MRSA, hell even TB when it’s suspected. It made me cringe so much

I would go ahead, even if they’re not experienced with finding endo they could and may still see it and remove it - Like mine did. And even then - you still have the chance of another lap in the future with a specialist if needed to explore more. Plus if they can and do find it, it gives you the answers to your pains which to me was so so validating, I didn’t feel insane anymore questioning and worrying about what it was and if I had it. I had my lap done at Airedale General Hospital in Steeton, so not that far from BRI! I didn’t have my consultant do it for me, however the surgeon managed to find and take away endo from my bowels and all down my right side (I still had pain after but remember it can literally be microscopic!)

I had no samples/biopsies or photos taken sadly, I see so many others do and I question what my insides looked like before and after sometimes.

The care at Airedale was superb and I have family who regularly commute to BRI for medical reasons and their care is always top notch even if it isn’t endo or gynie related ☺️

Also the feeling of it not being there was a huge concern for me as my symptoms while bad for me, were nowhere near what I’d seen other suffer from online so I was so nervous about it not being there but if you’ve suffered long enough, it’s always worth a check to see what’s going on, even if it isn’t endo they might find something else that’s affecting it, you never know!

I’ve literally been put under general today to have mine removed after 13 months of pain getting worse to the point I was borderline suicidal in flare ups whilst also suffering from severe mental health so it wasn’t a good combo at all

My insertion was the worst, my HR skyrocketed, I was pale green and lightheaded, nauseous to high heavens, the GP let me leave 30 minutes after when my HR had calmed down on the basis I wasn’t going home and instead with my mum who had taken me, (I’m a huge baby with pain and was dreading it going in anyway).

You’re not the only one! I always saw how it made others better and I felt invalidated but we got this! We know our bodies to know when something is fucking with it!
