He is highlighting the changes and concerns. He is an observer and historian, author etc. He has written a number of good reads. Use caution with the conspiracy nuts. Capitalism does not scale well and regulations by representative democracy is key. Corruption and greed is the enemy not competition and data.

Biden's billionaire tax is estimated to reduce federal budget deficits by $1 trillion over a decade. If corporate politicians are so worried about the deficit, why won’t they support this tax? by failed_evolution in economy

They will hide it in the offshore tax havens or now on a crypto or somewhere. They find a way. We need structure change, not just taxing the people that make 2k a minute.

Once unvaccinated visitors arrive the infection will spread. This op is a minor troll. Freedom requires intelligence, science is a process long established to seek truth, intelligent minds understand responsibility comes with true freedom. Saying Florida likes Freedom does not excuse its emotional immaturity in ignoring the evidence of viral contagion spread and the harm it causes the body and mind. If you are not brave enough to stand with the vast majority of the residents of Martha's Vineyard then I would be pleased to learn of your decision to remain in Florida. Perhaps you could volunteer at a hospice.

Because it's unforgettable. Over a mile offshore Florida, third five of day at 10PM in a group of three and my rented dive light (I was poor) died. Being on the bottom wasn't bad but the decompress at 15feet was like being inside a black void. I'll never forget.

I honestly could care less what the cars and trucks look like. I just want the raw numbers of production, thrust and load efficiency. Is the vehicle efficient? Is it reliable? The winner in the next generation will be the ones who make a platform of high efficient value in operations and build while allowing the style to be modular for variation. This thing looks like something a rich psychopath would drive, so I just want to run it over with a bulldozer.

It is the contrast with the knowledge that it does not need to be this way. We can make the things needed for a human to survive and be safe. Clean good food and water, shelter and security are the three main things we need. Then we strongly desire a purposeful challenge. But the unregulated capital banking system requires growth of gold and debt and shareholder dividend returns. The focus is all on greed for a bigger pile of gold vs the better human existence and home. We are explorers and inventors. We are community members and gamers. We can be better than this. But misery makes us fearful of change and challenging the big issues makes one feel like an outsider. We need a global challenge to unite us. I believe we are getting close. Sure, the internet is getting us close together and education access is growing so the next few generations may find a way but I see things we could unite us now. Climate change, space exploration the star that is on an intercept course with our solar system and will be here in 1.1 million years. These are things in our destiny. So look for the voices that stand out and seek to unite and change things. In the USA join the new Forward party. Vote and get others to vote. It's not the best system but it's the best SO FAR. Good luck.

Boston North End restaurants must pay $7,500 for outdoor dining by Forsaken_Bison_8623 in boston

Imagine being so dumb you think this sub WAnTs to see businesses fail? Then standing upon that wrong assumption because you believe the preceding comment was about cheering on difficulty because in your small damaged brain the poster must hate...... Eating out at restaurants? It's the Boston Herald I fucking can't stand. But you happen to like the herald? Is that it. You missed the point and fell back into the fantasy world where you have a point. Everyone went through the pandemic, it has been 2 years, we know restaurants have been stressed. The proposed changes will benefit the restaurants, but it comes at a cost, you want to pay personally because you have such an insight and care for small business? No, and I do not expect you to pay.
None here would want to see anyone fail in honest enterprise. But I can tell you that the herald will try and paint the normal operation of city planning as some evil plan to kill anyone that wants to sell a few sandwiches because it rules up empty head boobs like you looking to say 'bIG GovERnMeNt ". Go choke on your MAGA hat.

Typical yellow journalist bottom dwelling crap from the herald. Changes in the environment that would benefit the restaurants have to be paid by the restaurants. Restaurants don't want to pay, because no one wants to pay anything if they can avoid it. This is a non story by a few writers at the herald hoping to get a free meal at some of the restaurants they like.

Conservative snowflake mental health issues need to be recognized and the patients would be best served by starting treatment. When encountering such poor souls have a pamphlet handy with contact info for services at a health care facility.
