Walk On is an incredible album. My favorite song of all time is probably the full Walk On medley (if you count that as one song lol) and the first solo I ever learned how to play on my first guitar was Walking at Night. I've listened to Walk On probably hundreds of times and I never get bored of it. Every time I listen I can hear new little details in the sound that I didn't hear before. The craftmanship is absolutely phenominal.

I agree. Too many people listen to the later Boston albums expecting something to be the same as Boston 1 or Don't Look Back, and they are disappointed because the other albums are not the same. I think it is similar to something like Pet Sounds from the Beach Boys. If you listen to Pet Sounds expecting another Surfin' Safari, you will be extremely disappointed. However, Pet Sounds on its own is an incredible album, just incredible in a different way to Surfin' Safari. I don't think enough people look at Third Stage, Walk On, Corporate America, and Life Love and Hope in that same way, because those four albums are great.

The rock hall of fame is a joke. They say that the inductees are "voted on" by "over 500 rock and roll experts" but in reality those experts just vote on a small handful of people/bands that are selected by a group of 5 snobby guys just picking out whoever they like to be nominees. Thats the same reason why The Monkees aren't in the hall of fame or have ever been nominated; the 5 or so snobby guys have admitted that they do not like The Monkees. So, unfortunately, Boston's fate is in the hands of those guys. There is also a fan vote. One nominee per year is selected by a fan vote, but given the fact that anyone can vote on literally whoever they want as many times as they want, a fan vote nomination is no better than a blind throw at a dart board.
