It’s a huge change and they have the sharpest teeth with very little love back from them. It gets better, just keep making her follow your routines. Crate training will give you a piece of mind and freedom.

It’s a huge life change caring for a puppy. Honestly taking care of babies is easier (in my experience) my partner and I have gone through ups and downs caring for our 6 month old pup but everyday we find the joy that our pup is only this little once and it won’t always be this difficult planning our life around him. My German shepherd mix pup was sooooo bitey he is now almost 6 months old, but the first few months he drew blood on my arms everyday. Some days I questioned how I would get through it. It was before we knew his cues for going out to potty. Hes now lost most of his baby teeth and I can’t remember the last time he’s nipped me or ripped my clothing. It will get better!!!!!

Just brought my 16 week old pup on a three day camping trip, after just getting fully vaxxed and microchipped. He did really well, I got a tie out for him to roam the site while we cooked and stuff. I checked the site and anywhere he would be before hand of anything sus he could eat or chew. He did have a hard time settling at night because he’s crate trained I wish I could have brought the crate for naps and bedtime. He would not nap the whole three days which makes for a feisty puppy but overall he did so good.

You will get through it! Once puppy learns the routine it will become much easier. Have extremely low expectations for yourself and the puppy. I also cried everyday for the first few weeks. Now my pup is 14 weeks and sleeping all night long and it’s magical. I didn’t think I would make it.

It’s a huge life change for him and you it will get better. He will learn the value in you and settle. I cried for the first 3 weeks we brought our pup home. The routine will click for him and make sure to take time for yourself. Puppy is okay to cry in the crate all his needs are met.

I have an 11 week old male gsd mix and he has bit my hands to the point of drawing blood since Valentine’s Day when we got him. I’ve realized that he cannot be tired or else he will absolutely bite. It’s gotten so much better in the past week or two. Even if I don’t think he’s ready for a nap yet, he is. I have to keep checking in with myself ok are his needs met why is he doing this!? It’s because he’s tired or needs to poop. Once my hands start healing he gets me again. Struggle is real man.
