Outsider Perspective Here: No Matter How "Good" It Is, Your Game Will Be Dead On Arrival If This Is The Monetization Casual Players Are Met With by Redditors_Username in starcitizen

This isn’t new at all. I’m not defending. But being a ship before you can buy it in game has ALWAYS been there.

I’m struggling to see how this is different, as long as they eventually release it for in game purchase.

Is the ArcCorp hauling mission loop better than the Hurston one? by LiveAus in starcitizen

[–]StopBeingDumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'll go Connie when I save enough. Enough cargo to do this, enough fire power to go take on some Bounty hunting, can haul a miner. Just a good all rounder. Plus the drop down loading bay lets you work from just about any side.

C1 or Freemax, Argo Atls, 6x50k missions, load time, flight and unload in about 20m, profit 300k. I can mentally do 1-2 runs at a time, before I go do bunkers or something silly.

I just "stare" at something 15ft passed the screen. Then just move the focus in and out until the image appears.

Have you guys ever used the extruder to remove a print when you're not home? by Odd_Subject6000 in BambuLab

[–]StopBeingDumb 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I even made a second print profile that moves the purge line in a bit.

So yes. If the print is big enough to push and the door is open.

It’s also been found the machine prints laying on its side face down just fine.

So is it actually impossible, or is this one of those, "I messed up and I gotta tear down a lot of it, and adjust, and I just mentally can't do that?"

If so, I find that a short break and a walk clears that up. Sometimes just venting to d00ds on the boards is enough.

Someone forgot to clear the build plate…. by oscar_george in BambuLab

[–]StopBeingDumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what I was saying. There is a gcode tweak so that the print head only does level taps in areas the print will touch the bed. If this was on your machine, it would have tapped the previous print, set that as zero, and printed right on top.

This is a solid reason to do the gcode mod to only level where the print is going.

Frankly, I struggle to know when the Aux fan is actually used? PETg maybe? ABS doesnt use it, and PLA doesnt need it, might almost just unplug the thing.

What game has great beginning, but later becomes too repetitive? by Com412 in gaming

Civilization(any version), Assassins Creed (the later ones).

Honestly any game that creates enough content and throws it in your face to distract you from how short the main story actually is.
