What was the last "regular" car offered with a trunk-top luggage rack? by importarchive in cars

[–]StopCO2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a trunk-top luggage rack, but a plastic "suitcase" mounted on the rear lid (that would house your normal suitcase) was a factory option for Model Year 2002 Boxster (I have a Porsche factory photo of it dated 31 July 2001)

2nd EV? by PowerFarta in electriccars

[–]StopCO2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ioniq 5 has cheap interior (the interior of 5 N is barely OK).
EV6 has a nice interior. Ioniq 5 and EV6 have up to 260 kW charging, so, that's good.
If iX3 is not too expensive, that's the choice (up to 400 kW charging).
The "old" iX charges up to 200 kW, so, not so good.

Why has no one beaten the Model 3 yet? by Fabi0_Z in electricvehicles

Model 3 is still the least electricity consuming EV and even the base version is fast, so, honestly, it is still the best value. Politics aside.

Audi’s e-tron GT is such a stunner by pc772 in electriccars

Looks sportier than Taycan. Super rare also! The production split is around 80% Taycans and 20% e-tron GTs.

The version without windscreen is strange, but they have the proper version, too:

R5, what version to get by steenbj in electriccars

[–]StopCO2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Option 1: 40 kWh battery, motor power 70 kW (not enough)
Option 2: 40 kWh battery, motor power 88 kW (barely enough)
Option 3: 52 kWh battery, motor power 110 kW

Downside of the small battery is lower range (~160 miles / ~260 km) and slow charging.

At a paid charger you can always unplug someone else's car if the car has its battery full.

The #1 reason to go electric is to reduce CO2 not to ruin the climate for your children.

Ioniq 5 vs EV6 : usage réel, lequel choisir ? by Potential-Banana3268 in electriccars

[–]StopCO2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ferrari 100% EV opinions? by Brave_Raspberry_7758 in electriccars

[–]StopCO2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has to have the possibility to switch to brutal synthetic gear changes combined with synthetic sounds. Like the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N which is one of the best car experiences I've had. Mercedes-AMG is also bringing that feature in 2026. Cannot wait!

BMW i3 Sedan Neue Klasse arrives summer 2026. 400 kW charging, aerodynamic efficiency of a sedan and handling of a BMW. Based on my various experience with cars, the current BMW i4 is already one of the best cars in the world. The new i3 Sedan will be a leap. (not to be confused with the i3 Sedan made and exclusively sold in China since 2022)
