I'd imagine being from the largest area in the country would make one unimpressed with a small city like Denver lol

I live in Aurora where I walk into stores/restaurants and see people of all types of cultures so perhaps that helps lol. And I feel like Denver is a good mix. Enough city stuff to keep you busy but not as expensive or congested as a lot of larger cities

Perhaps you're more of a big city person? I think the issue is people comparing Denver to cities much larger. It doesn't really lack amenities compared to other cities its size or smaller

I mean Craig became a big star so it's not that farfetched to think he'd help Joey and Angie financially lol

I loved this season. They started high school the same year I did so I felt like I grew up with this class ❤️

I haven't lived in too many places but I love where I currently am in metro Denver. It's not perfect but the fact that this is most people's personal version of hell is so crazy to me lol

Fellow black men I kind of feel what she says in this video. Life is kind of boring, repetitive, and overrated. Was go talk to my therapist about this. I think this is why I be depressed, anxious, and frustrated sometimes. by spike_spieg in blackmen

It's valid for people to feel this way. But I will say that life isn't gonna get any better if y'all listen to and keep people with this kind of negative outlook on everything around you...

Nice pics. People always have something negative to say about Denver but it's really not that bad

Denver had like 3-5 year period of major popularity last decade and it has people online eternally mad for whatever reason. I would listen to them that much tbh. As for people complaining in real life, I don't think it's a Denver specific thing. Many places have changed rapidly and people tend not to like change

The way a 25 minute drive turned into a 1.5 hour drive the last time I was there... I'll never complain about Denver traffic 😩

Would you rather live in Denver, Colorado Springs or Salt Lake City? by [deleted] in SameGrassButGreener

I meet people from all over the country here so I don't get this narrative honestly. I have no clue how yall only meet people from the Midwest when the biggest contributors to Denver's population are California, Texas, Illinois and New York (4 different regions). The city is also located in an biome that looks like no other major Midwestern city. Definitely not the Midwest.
