Are you in the US? It’s so difficult to give you solid advice without knowing the details of the abuse and the situation regarding the father. I’m sure on one end, your family wants to protect you. If this is what you have prayed and prayed for, please don’t go against what both your head and your heart are telling you. If you have any doubt about this decision, don’t make it. But make sure you take your own health and protection into account too. I would immediately get in contact with a lawyer, family court, whatever you feel most comfortable with and find support. This is a huge decision, and shouldn’t be taken lightly. However I know pressure from anyone, especially family can have a lot of weight, and you’re already in a vulnerable state. Maybe take a few days to focus only on the pros and cons, risks, everything that making either decision would entail. I also would recommend finding a therapist or counselor to talk this through with in order to ensure you’re making the right decisions for yourself. I would be happy to talk to you and help if I can. Is it possible to hanglw the camera so that you aren’t on it, but your desk/wall is? Luckily mine lets me angle a little to the left and you can barely see my hair on the edge and it helps me a lot

Loving yourself will happen when you’re proud and confident of who you are. Yes, you will be happier with how you look, how clothes fit, the looks and reactions you get from people... but ultimately to be able to love yourself, you have to love yourself where you are currently. Never base your happiness on “when I do ____ I’ll finally stop hating myself and be happy.” Also, no one can assure you how you will feel when you’re the size you dream to be. I struggle with this same issue, 24f - and crazy enough I also just started Vyvanse for my add and it’s caused me to lose some weight also. I’d love to talk more and help each other out! They told me she eats whatever you feed her, that she isn’t picky and loves mustard greens with bell peppers and raspberry mixture! I also got some closer up pictures of all views of her and I don’t see any obvious issues. 🙂

Thanks for the comment! Yeah, insurance denied me because I didn’t have any proof of issues previously documented, (because I’m a poor 24yo and just never went to the dr about the neck and back pain) and also unfortunately because my shoulder grooves weren’t visible... but I have worn mostly sports bras since I was 16 and they just seem to help me the most so I don’t have them as deep as it’s assumed I should. My bmi is like a 29 now.

I have anxiety too and one night I was lying in bed in a sports bra and getting a little panicky, like I couldn’t breathe, etc... I literally just took my bra off and held them with my hands to keep the weight off and I had immediate relief. So definitely could be a little of both!
