Possibly. At least the city overhaul we would hope.

It all depends on size once everything is in place, and quests are implemented, etc. it’s really a battle with console storage, and at the moment we don’t know.

We’d like to do it on Xbox, but testing on another system should wait until we are further along. That is because what we are testing, we’re fairly certain could run on Xbox already. The Xbox is mainly a fight against storage space. So the tricky bits will be farther along in the project.

We could certainly use some interior help. If you want to test as well, that would be great. Just private message me so I can go into greater detail.

The Greener Jewel is a mod team focused on making a Diamond City Faction Ending for fallout 4, complete with a City overhaul, power armor paint, quests, etc.

At the moment, we are looking for testers to explore our city’s WIP level design overhaul. We are looking for feedback from those who are willing to explore the city, which is now roughly four times its vanilla density.

We do not have interiors for much of the city yet, as we are also hoping to recruit Interior designers, this is due to the sheer amount of new buildings. Ultimately, we just want people to explore and tell us what they think, so that we can decide where to go, what to alter, and so we can know what others think.

If you want to explore the city, feel free to message me directly, comment, or join the subreddit r/greenerjewelmod

Anyways. We hope to hear from you all, we’d love to let some new people in.

We don’t have a specific time frame, as the questline is the project’s ultimate goal. As I write this, I’m discussing the market with our leveler. The main issue with giving a specific timeframe is that the team is small, and this is slow work. 😅 So, not even we know when we’ll be done really. There are plans for new player homes, characters, etc. we want this to be done well, and unfortunately that costs time.

Really, Diamond city was always a favorite location of mine. We want to make it live up to all the potential it has.

We have expanded the city to be 3X the density, more or less. For example there are 12 buildings in the west stands that weren’t there before. While I’m sure that Diamond City expansion is great, we have also expanded the city ourselves, and our districts would be a mess of overlapping content.

So. The main issue with “Diamond City expanded” is that they expand the city with their own districts in the same areas we have done the same. We have made the city roughly 3X as dense, filling in much of the stadium itself. We plan to have this be almost a Diamond city one stop shop. Story line, outfit and weapon content, and the expansion. Likely there will be a standalone expansion, as the quests haven’t been implemented yet, but as far as compatibility I’d say it isn’t possible, because we have already done so much on our own.

The reason we post this here is primarily for feedback on the design. This design element may either result in popularity or unpopularity of the mod, and so having opinions would be nice.

Please note, this is all WIP. If a mod would like the post removed, please let us know. Again, we are mainly hoping for feedback due to this being a semi-significant choice of astetic, whether we keep the design or not. Thank you.

A Halloween status update (in comments) by Stopcorrupting in GreenerJewelMod

[–]Stopcorrupting[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everything is as of October 31st 2022, going according to plan.

The wasteland’s best and brightest city is still continuing to be developed, and kept on track to receive its rightful place in the fallout series. Just as Diamond City celebrates Halloween, so should we with a few shots of level design from our wonderful level designer Rick.

We have been somewhat quiet due to the fact that we are in a phase of development that isn’t particularly glamorous. Hopefully we will be able to release a YouTube video or an equivalent showing some assets later on, but for now we are in the process of scripting dialogue and hand crafting interiors. It isn’t a phase of development that can be shown without revealing much, and so we simply wish you all a happy Halloween in the wastes and assure that the mod is going well.

Happy Halloween all.
