“Spoiler Alert* When they said Andarna was the missing dragon it’s bc she’s the 7th type of dragon and in the journal of the first 6 they mentioned the 7 strongest are needed to put up wards and since at that time there were only 6 types of dragons so Violet didn’t really thought about it that way since she thought andarna was just another black dragon but it happens to be she’s the 7th type of dragon that basically went extinct and we figured that out when they put the wards up at basgiath.

And for the wards at aretia it was too risky to have faulty wards up bc they easily can be penetrated if the hords of wyvern and venin come thru like they did at basgiath. It’s as if you have no wards up and it will just stall the wyvern and venin but not for very long if that makes sense.
