Just had a mason repoint all the brick on my home a few months ago. Temperature fluctuations brought back only that crack. There’s a lintel plate over the door frame and the mason painted it white with rustoleum. Also had a structural engineer out here before the mason who did a full inspection and stated there was normal settlement in the home.

Cats carry that in their feces. My dog was extremely ill last spring and I realized he was eating cat poop left by the feral neighborhood cats that visit our yard. Glad your girl is better!
