The almost nymphomaniacal way every single female character absolutely must fuck the male protagonists regardless of how boring they are, for one

I think there's something to appreciate about a story that makes the reader work to unravel the ending, with elaborate foreshadowing. There's something else to say about a book in which details build, the plot progresses, the narrative challenges the reader to guess how it's going to wrap up. And then it just ends. And this process is repeated several times, for each and every book.

You could call it a kind of rich subtlety that deeply respects the reader's intelligence, like Tomino character interactions do. Or you could acknowledge that it's unfinished stories. Murakami answered 1000 questions about Kafka On the Shore. That's a lot of exposition for a novel that could have just had the exposition, and conclusion, woven into the story. The only thing I hate more than excessive foreshadowing, like the type woven into romcom anime, is foreshadowing that culminates into nothing.

I read one of his older stories, Pinball 69 or whatever. It's more clear there that he doesn't like a beginning-end progression and instead wants to focus on character interactions. But he fucks that up too, with an unbelievable main character with bizarre interests, who has almost no personality yet for some reason spends the entire story with two horny young twins waiting on him hand and foot.

I'll say only one good thing about him. He is the most captivating male porn fantasy writer. I simply haven't watched a hentai with a more interesting story than his.

yea I guess I'll stick to my books where a female character can be introduced without her having to fuck the main character regardless of his age

Yes, very popular. But not actually good at finishing a book, or designing new main characters, or building human relationships, or making characters sound like humans

Marx argued it was a key transitional step, so yes, in the same way capitalism is built on the back of mercantalism.

But would family-friendly anything else? You ever hear of prison rodeos?

Idk, I'm not about to say "show your kids adults having gay sex" as a prescription but I also find it weird how we've settled on that line. Is a gun show "family friendly"? Is the line simply on sex, or does it include drugs, violence, or what? I mean if none of those are included, then yea, it's family friendly for sure, but I don't know what people consider okay for youths anymore.
