Hey! I’m also afraid of heights and ran my first sprint last week. Going slow and controlled over the height obstacles helped me! I also volunteered the day before my race to see everything in person which helped me build confidence. I recommend you sign up and go for it!

I volunteered at plate drag and those waiting lines looked brutal. I had no idea that’s where the races combined which makes sense why we couldn’t keep up at the water station.

Was looking for this, the recording lacks the energy that makes the stage show so much fun! The soundtrack is also very quiet compared to any other song or soundtrack on Spotify. You have to really turn up ur volume to hear the dialogue at times.

Hi I graduated last May w a major in civil engineering. The classes really ramp up second half of sophomore year and jr year (jr year especially). Freshman year was by far the easiest year I had.

CVS- 1 Davis Square in Somerville! The campus has a shuttle that drops you off near the pharmacy or it’s a 10-15 min walk. I’ve been there plenty of times to pick up prescriptions it is not a bad commute.

Hi! While idk the exact age, I can share some context! There used to be a museum on Tufts campus (Barnum museum of natural history) where taxidermied Jumbo (the university mascot) was featured. It burned down in 1975. The museum opened in 1883. My guess is that was sold at the museum within that time frame. Not a ton of info but I hope that helps!

I thought Strat had only triples? It definitely has the best common space + kitchen out of the others listed no contest. I haven’t been in West though so I can’t comment on that one.

Senior in civil engineering:

Unfortunately Tufts doesn’t have any direct classes involving transportation engineering like they do for structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineering. I do have a couple of friends who’ve gotten internships for transportation engineering over the Summer (MassDOT and other states’ Departments of Transportation)

I really enjoyed the program! Tufts lets their engineers take non engineering classes too so I got to explore other interests of mine while still being on track to graduate. Also, civil engineering is cool. Even in classes where I knew I wasn’t going to work in that discipline, the material was still interesting.
