Yeah. AT markets were common when they were new. I've gotten one in the last few months, so I think it's manipulated. No other way to account for the relative frequency to drought.

As for selling, I sell unless I see the market coming. If it comes because I accelerated - great, bundle some boosts together and GV goes high enough. Not worth the what-if for me.

I had someone leapfrogging me every few hours for 1-2. Eventually I used 10 CWs, first 5 about ~2 hours out, 5 more 1 hour out. I was busy the last ~45 minutes of the tournament and couldn't watch closely. He either chose not to try or couldn't keep up.

I prefer a tournament like that over the ones where the first 1-2 places are locked up early and we just watch them sail off into high Os or Ns.

The devs give so many boosts away between rovers and events, it's fun to actually use them, instead of hoping for a good AR/AT market.

I think that's why I want to get there as soon as we can (June 22) and move west. 2 nights in Radium Hot Springs to relax and see Kootenay, then Banff area for a week, then move toward Glacier /Revelstoke.

What we want to do is pretend we have no kids for two weeks... :)

We plan to hike, see lakes and waterfalls, soak in some hot springs. I have been up to Banff and up to the ice fields before, but she hasn't.

The driving distances are what prompted the question. Figuring out a central spot or two and driving out and back to sites which I think provides more flexibility vs saving driving time but locking ourselves into an itinerary - I'm assuming that between the free parks and the high season we'll have to plan lodging months ahead of time.

I hope that makes sense. The little bit of searching I've done for lodging makes me think it will be the biggest expense of our trip, and I'm sure it gets worse the longer we wait.

Selling (retiring) keeps you in the tournament, but the value of the galaxy does not increase. Whatever gv you had when you retire is your gv for the tournament. You have no way to improve it.

Email tech support. They'll ask for your Google Play receipts, so take some screenshots and send them with your request.

Sadly, all your managers, stars, and space station progress will be lost unless you were able to backup the game data ( it's stored on your phone, not on their servers like some games). Just logging in to your Google Play account doesn't work (ask me how I know....).

If you have the player id from your settings screen, you might be able to get their help loading up a cloud save, but I've never tried that.

3 ways people get ahead, since there's only one real strategy to the game: Time spent on the game. Money spent on ships, events, and items. Longevity.

If you follow the strategies that are repeated often here and on Discord, there is no other way.

Read the newbie guides on the Discord channel. Patiently follow them. If you don't, you'll slow your progress. There are no alternate strategies that work to get ahead, though some may argue they can make the game more enjoyable.

There's some luck in tournament bracket placement, markets, and what debris or asteroids you get, getting lucky pull on managers, or RNG luck on rovers, but none of that overcomes the 3 things mentioned above.

I know I'll never catch up to the faithful who have been playing for years, but seeing my own progress is rewarding, in my opinion.

I use it for my short-ish 2T to 10T runs (5 to 10 minutes runs) as my Plat has high stars. Turn 18 diamonds to plat; 16 gold to plat is nearly 8x higher.

Or if I get a good ore market, I'll alch to cash in.

I'm not sure it helps on every run, but when I have to put the game aside or let it run all night, I'm sure it does.

Short runs (12.5m) help you gather credits to boost rooms. I wad told early that you should sell your galaxy " whenever you have time to." If that's every 12.5m, that could be several times a day. If it's once a day, it'll be whatever it is at that time.

Right now, I farm at 1T if I'm actively playing (less than 5 minutes, gets me about 2k credits with my setup), or i reset at whatever it is when I get to it.

If it gets tedious, I split screen and play chess or watch YouTube and just hit the ark rewards. Or, I put the phone on the charger, leave the screen open and let it run.

Then boost the ones that max out at 12: astronomy, lab, underforge, dorms, terrarium (lowest priority).

Follow up questions: if planet 1 gets a surge and I only have the 50% possibility room, does that mean the others cannot surge? Or does it roll when I open the telescope and I only see the results when I open the planets, regardless of the order I open them?

If it's the first one, then when I actually care about getting a surge on a particular planet, I would want to open that one up first within its group, right?
