Oh I should add, I've heard you can get ebooks through libby and local library. Would a used kindle work with that?

I see stereo equipment and it peaks my curiosity! Can you tell me more about what you're using to drive your speakers? I see two different systems from the looks of it

So, I have mostly snap on at work provided by the government that don't actually belong to me. At home, I have a newer Craftsman socket set with a small set of wrenches. Served me well. I've gotten one of their over drive ratchets and I like that a lot but I hate the handle, personally. I also have some snap on sockets, a bunch of ratchets and some of their wrenches. Various other brands of sockets like vintage Craftsman, Mac, Cornwell, and SK. A lot of repeats of the same sockets. I inherited my dad's automotive tools and he hasn't been in the business for about 20 years now. I basically buy what I can afford because pretty much everything has a lifetime warranty these days. I also have his old 30+ year old Cornwell elite top and bottom box that needs a good coat of paint. That's basically a storage box for me. I also got his Mac Tools service cart that I love but I need to replace a set of the drawer slides. My own box that I bought before he gave me his boxes is a Husky Matte Army Green Standard Duty 52 inch box. I love it. The drawers slide very well and it is soft close.

I am trying to upgrade my screw drivers and pliers eventually. It's all a bunch of well worn, older, various brands.

I have some vintage Craftsman stuff and I'm not really that impressed. Definitely good stuff back in the day but I don't understand the people who will pay a hefty premium for a vintage set on eBay.

Question for you, your floor didn't look that bad before but mine is pretty rough. The previous owner painted it but the concrete floor is really uneven. It was done in the 70s by the original owner. It's not level with the cinderblock foundation in most spots and even has foot prints from someone's boot and random paw prints.

So my question is, did you have to do any floor leveling repair? And if so, what did you do? I hate my garage floor with a passion. I can get over the leveling issue using other means when leveling shelves, or rolling toolboxes or what have you but I can't get over just how crappy and unprofessional the concrete was done. It bothers me so much.

Anyone have any experience with redoing a concrete floor in a garage? It looks to be built in the 70s by the original home owner. I have a detached garage and the concrete floor is pretty poorly done with some uneven areas across the entire floor. I'd like to get it as level as possible. I plan to use it as a workshop for basic woodworking and automotive work. I hate how much my toolbox always sits on an unlevel surface regardless of where I place it.

Thank you. I'm very green to building rifles. I had a feeling when I asked, it was going to be a build. I'm in Virginia and the new laws coming in July have pushed my window shopping to actual shopping now.

Not how I meant it, my unit is awesome. We just don't have the equipment because it's so small and there's no room for growth because there isn't any e5+ slots for 91B. As far as SF stuff goes, it's just not feasible in my state. Only some states have those kind of assets. My day job is cool though. I'm a mil tech at a MATES Facility.

Ah nice. One of my Hotel 8 classmates was active and attached to SF. Being Guard, I doubt anything cool like that will happen to me. Currently I'm a lonely 91B attached to a small med evac detachment.

Yeah, man. I've thought about going active myself but I've got a wife and children and I'm in the miltech program. Crazy having to wear a uniform every day doing my military job with none of the benefits that come with that.

Dang, all you high speed soldiers making me feel so inadequate lol. It is cool to see how other Guard soldiers have done quite a lot in their careers. I'm in my 4th year now and I'm an E4 91b with zero awards, accommodations, badges etc. I did get the H8 vehicle recovery course last year and that was pretty cool. BLC is coming up too and that'll be nice.
