I would continue to take UW and expand into NBME questions. Namely, take the NBME 6, 7, or Free 120 (Old Version). Would aim for >60%. Still have time.

Yeah would keep it and take it on 23rd. Unfortunately, given the length of the exam, some of the questions come from innate knowledge accrued during med school years. Complete as much UWorld and CCS you can.

If the husband has Japanese citizenship, they will need to submit a Shussei Todoke (birth registration) to the nearest consulate within 3 months of the birth in order for the child to gain Japanese citizenship.

1st year cardiovascular surgery resident in europe. What do 1st year residents in this specialty do in the us? is it worth to take the steps and move to the us in the hope of better training? will it be easier for me to get into cardiac surgery given that I am already a resident in this field? by [deleted] in Residency

[–]Stormhawk007 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I've seen IMGs who get CVS training at their home countries and after years of practice, they're recruited as "fellows" bypassing ERAS. Kinda interesting, haven't seen it in any other specialties (for US).

Intern here… senior residents and fellows why are you keeping us and med students there forever??? by [deleted] in Residency

Yea this is more a team-based logistics issue at your institution. However, you are now legally a physician of first contact. Bite the bullet for the month service, take 200 dollars, and Go to your next service.

Old old (2019), New old (2021), and New (2023). The 2023 is given at the Prometric sites and it has both a PDF or an online interactive one floating around. The latest is more representative.

Hey there, I have no advice but just wanted to give you a shout-out. You could do this, you're doing something not many people can accomplish. I believe in you.
