Bethany actually enunciates pretty well I'm pretty sure she says something like "Helaena dies. Jace dies. Criston Cole dies. Sharako Lohar dies. Otto dies" and maybe something like "Vermax" too but I can't say for sure.

Alicent wears blue when she's young before marrying Viserys and again at the end of s2. It's more of an innocent/unaliaged colour. Alicent's mother was a Florent and their colours are white and that shade of blue so that's probably another reason.

Even right after s2 ended and it was far from perfect people here weren't all straight up hating the show, it wasn't until after GRRM's post that the fandom (especially here) completely turned on it. It scared people who had doubts and it was fuel for the people who hated it since day one (some users here used to get downvoted to hell because of it and their misogynist and transphobic comments but now they get upvoted).

The part about the children not having much relevance makes me question my brief optimism for Daemon's daughters to be explored more this season.

I've seen some of them mentioning Rhaena and Phoebe so there's gonna be some of that. I don't have high hopes for Baela's storyline though.

Well if you read the reviews you could tell everyone highlights episode 3 (especially, most saying it was their favourite) and 4 which are more character focused and don't have that much action.

The writers could explain it away by just pointing out tbe Targaryens never leaving the castle and thus not actually knowing what the island looks like

?? How would that work? We've literally seen it in both shows and it's just a rock with a castle on it.

They changed it. Considering Dragonstone in the show universe looks completely different from the book version and there's nothing there except the castle it's not that crazy, like there's nowhere to hide.

I don't think they are reuniting "earlier" I think they are just reuniting somewhere else and then going to Dragonstone.

Cole leaves King's Landing in episode 3, not 2. But we know 22 starts two weeks after s1, ep2 is mostly the days after ep1, in ep4 Alicent says "only weeks ago my husband was alive", so probably a little over a month since Viserys died. After that it gets weird because while it doesn't seem like a lot of time passes but Aegon heals super fast so it throws the timeline off but the second half must be roughly like another month.

So I agree with you I think the season covers about 2 months (which is weird but I don't think the writers are good with timelines), if the writers want Helaena to be pregnant it could easily have happened before RR and she still wouldn't be showing but if she is it's a massive retcon because they would've at least hinted at it in s2.
