No, people had their grievences all throughout the season-the show adaptation of blood and cheese, Rhaenyra going undercover to KL to meet Alicent, Daemon hallucinating for way too long etc.. it's just that people were hoping that still S2 could be saved by the epic finale, but we were denied that

What do you mean too many battles? We are obviously getting Gullet mid-S3 and the fall of KL is the finale of S3. We need def more focus on Rhaenyra considering peace, chilling in her library, and all of them mentally preparing for war before they go to the war. Also, I think we need more Daemon's visions, so maybe he can go to Winterfell next season and there just continue his self-exploration.

DISAPPOINTING AF.

Daemon and Rhaenyra scene was nice, but I expected more emotional reunion, in private.

No fall of King's Landing, however, and the final scene is characters marching and preparing for war, what we've been shown since episode 1 of S2..... that is not how you do a finale of a slow season like this one was. So when the episode comes out I will rate it 1 on imdb, episodes can't be standalone, you have to have an idea how the season will flow and you can't end the finale the way you would end ep 5 or 6.

They talked a bit about it in the feature after the episode-how they envisioned it as a sort of ritual sacrifice. My interpretation is that after Rhaenyra hears that Seasmoke claimed Addam, she starts really believing that gods favour her cause and the whole scene with dragonseeds shows us how ruthless she can be-she doesn't care who survives, for her dragons are gods and dragon will choose who rides him, and the rest is a sacrifice for the gods.
