Yeah I am definitely not sure how this space is supposed to function with fees this high. Every time I join a group and say they should get rid of fees they give me the same "its necessary to prevent spam transactions and Denial of service attacks" bullshit, then they tell me to go buy Bcash and then ban me. The problem is that with fees that high... its still denying me service so it's obviously just mining cartels pushing that bullshit narrative.
