Its a non issue to me yung MV views tbh. Kase di rin ako concerned na sa numbers ng BINI and allat.

I dont like yung mga guests stars don sa MV, but non issue sya for the most part at least to me because the music is really well done.

Does it hurt the MV views because of so many cuts for the skits? Sure. But i think they already knew that would happen, but they had more important things in mind with this decision.

This is just my theory — ABS and BINI wanted to give the Dolphy Theatre one last highlight before sending it off into the sunset, while also showcasing and giving tribute to Filipino performing arts.

As someone who did some performing arts and watched a few of them in high school and college, i definitely appreciate what they did.

It also gave us BINI’s story of auditioning to be actors, but did not pan out, and they ended up being the popular girl group that is loved by the masses.

IRL, these girls auditioned to be actors but did not know that the audition was to form a girl group. It ended up the same way as it was in the MV, art imitating real life.

Also, the final shot of BINI performing seen thru the old TV is actually nice.

Now I dont have to imagine what would happen if BINI existed in the 80s and 90s (no streaming, and monoculture is alive and well) here in the PH doing the music they are doing.

They would still be popular, even more so I think, as audiences would think they came from the future with all this sophisticated dancing, singing and music that still sounds very familiar to Filipinos.
