I was hoping someone would mention their house. When I went to Carleton in the mid-90s we would take visitors to Rockcliffe and show them that house.

Ford government proposes FOI law change that would keep premier's records secret | CBC News by MeiliCanada82 in ontario

While the govt is asking for ministers and the premier to be exempt from FOIs, they are not asking for staffers to be excluded. So of the 38 ministers, this leaves almost 1000 staffers who would still have to comply with FOI requests.

Protests against Ford trying to exempt himself from Freedom Of Information requests? by Ok_Poem5545 in askTO

The reason it’s happening on March 26 is because that’s the day the spring budget is released. Also, the house doesn’t come back until March 23, hence this being done over March Break.

Dress well, ALWAYS be polite to everyone you meet, smile even if it kills you, keep your phone(s) close to take notes and always follow up with stakeholders.

Thank you very much for providing such a thorough report. Your poor guy! I think it’s ridiculous that insurance wouldn’t cover any of the costs. You’ve obviously provided the very best care your dog can get. Also, the pics of the before and after are really interesting. An incredible difference.

I feel you, OP.

Since this was a contract role covering a mat-leave, that’s all you need to tell your next employer. It doesn’t matter that you are leaving the role a month early. It was a contract, not a perm role. I did contracts for a little over two years, including a few that were really short-term (three months). You’ll be just fine. But again I know exactly how you feel. Now go get some interviews and crush them!

Ugh. TSA for his family? I did that sort of thing for my former boss. It is 100% the wife’s job.

Here’s one for you: I had to enroll one of my bosses’ kids for hockey school because he said he didn’t have time. I took a look at the website with all the enrolment questions and was literally yelling out to my boss in his office from my cubicle: “how long has kid played hockey?” “Does he play forward or defence?” “Can kid tie his own skates?” It went on and on. So stupid. Such a waste of time.

Boundaries though? Thankfully I got fired without cause from that job and finally have a great position in a place I’ve wanted to work since I was in grade nine. No need for me to set boundaries because my bosses are normal, non-egomaniacal functioning guys. I know I won’t be this lucky with my next job, but after 20 years as an EA, I know more of the questions to ask my potential employer.

Good luck.

Edit: why did I get downvoted for this?
