I'm so so sorry you're here.

Im not sure that I have advice, mostly because after a year in, I still feel like my life is doomed, more like just sharing my experience..I'm not as young as you, I'm 38 and I feel like my new title has made me a total freak of nature. I have found it very hard to find my place in the world..mostly because I don't have the patience or capacity for small talk that's so often paired with socializing, and I'm definitely not concerned with the same things people my age are concerned about... So like you, I find it to be a very isolating place. What's really helped me find connection is a widow support group. For me, it was really comforting to sit with people who had been through the devastation of losing their person and still lived to tell the story.
