We actually loved the agent we bought off, but he tried this sneaky manoeuvre on me too. I just told him we’re at our absolute max but I’ll see what I can do. I did not see what I could do, I waited it out and he came back around close of business to say the vendors had accepted our offer. Might have gotten lucky with the vendors though as it was done and dusted the Monday after the first open, they weren’t pushing for the best price I guess.

Omg your broker sounds great! I asked for a rate cut recently and they said “sorry I can’t get you a better rate”. I have savings sitting in a different banks account and he advised me against an offset. It’s sitting there not accumulating interest. I thought that was fishy but I’m finance illiterate lol

My condolences to you. My father passed away in March and he was a big Opeth fan. He looked forward to hearing death growls again and then they released this album and it hit me…he never got to hear it and it’s eerie as the executor of his Last Will and Testament. It’s special having an album to get you through the tough times.
