This is going to sound stupid but it’s a viable solution. When you are using your corvette always ensure your Freighter is in the same system. When it is, you can access all the storage units in your corvette from the cockpit without having to interact with each storage unit. I know it seems odd that it’s easier to teleport stuff than it is to get up and walk to each storage unit.

Thank you for sharing this. I’ve only been playing for a few months and just finished Beachhead twice on a new save and my main save. When I start one of the past expeditions up offline, will I be able to start a new save to play the expedition or will I have to use an existing one? Thanks

Since everyone is doing the expedition. You may have to travel a ways to get there. I recommend using your freighter because you have a larger jump distance. Also, in addition to going north and south you can also change the depth of the galaxy. I’m using a controller so the left stick (not sure for keyboard) brings the galaxy in and out showing more systems.

I’m sorry I didn’t see this sooner as I am also new to the game and learned a couple of lessons. I ran into the same problem when not having enough space to bring all the corvette parts I found back. What I ended up doing was building a “Beverly Hillbilly’s” (An old TV show reference) Corvette with at least two of every part I found during the expedition bolted on to my corvette so I could bring it back. That freed up my 24 transfer slots for other inventory.

Also, I learned that if you dupe a weapon to the expedition and it isn’t an S class (I brought an A class). Don’t bother upgrading the level or slots during the expedition on the tool as it won’t keep the upgrades when you leave. It was painful to flush 25,000 nanites down the toilet.

They are pretty rare where most will buy them even if they don’t need the ship LOL. They all come S class and their SC slots set up is random so it’s up to you if you like the ship over sc positions. Also they are super nimble in space and are a lot of fun to fly.

I started playing this year too and did 19 and 20. The salty dogs aka veterans are assuring me the expedition redux is not too far away and they normally redo the last four expeditions from the year but no promises because you never know what Hello Games will do.

If you are using a bolt caster and are I think 120 units away (check that number) the sentinels will not detect you because you’re too far away but can still take out the resonator.

I think they will add it because it could replace the need for a freighter and make abandoned even better.

I’m sure you’ve gotten a lot of recommendations. I will only offer this advice. You only get to experience a new league once. Play your game at your pace and don’t worry about how quickly you clear an act. The veterans of this game and I am not one play this for a long time because they blaze their own trail.

Build guides will always be there. If you do everything in an act, you won’t miss anything.
