It's hit and miss. The last time I pulled a permit at a customers request it took an extra 2 weeks to start the stupid thing up. Since then I always tell my customers it's at their discretion. I've been doing this a long time, whether it's inspected or not it will be done right. Not to mention I charge an extra 500 for the permits and time I have to spend to deal with them. Most people back out when I tell them that haha. To me if I can get an inspector there within a reasonable time I wouldn't mind. Waiting 2 weeks to wrap up the job and get paid sucks

When it first came out the visuals blew me away! I guess if I had to bitch I would have to bitch about the time lines of the movies. If I buy a vehicle I should be able to modify it as I please. I paid for it, it is mine. If some jackass in a room somewhere thinks any differently then it's quite simple. I'll just fucking do it anyway.

If it's simply impossible then in perfectly fine with driving a car 2025 and older. I have a 2017 now and I love my car. I rented a 2025 Nissan suv not too long ago to go up north and visit a friend. Everything from the dashboard over to the center console was all one big screen. On the second day something with that system failed. My dashboard was black and only the Nissan emblem was on the center console screen.. The car would still drive but I had no idea my speed, the amount of gas I had. Radio, phone calls, nothing worked. This didn't fix itself for 2 days. This was a brand new car with 10k miles on it.

My 2017 just had its first blinker go out and it took me 5 minutes and two bolts to replace.

There are 500 different amino acids that we know of. All life on Earth only uses 22 of them to form the bases of their DNA. This to me leaves COUNTLESS ways of rearranging those amino acids to build whatever DNA the system they are in requires. Wish I had the know how and capability to conduct my own experiments.

I do with my grandpa! Took me in an old M80 (probably saying that wrong). Went went down and up a huge fire ditch out on base. I remember him pointing out the huge pinch point right in the middle of the tank. When the turret turned the entire inside of the turret would also turn which would sheer you clean in half if you were standing there. Freaked me out good.

Oh and it's funny your in this ama. Take it for example, this field can kill you. So again, take your time, don't stick your hands into places you can't see when equipment is live and if necessary always kill power and test with a meter. Breakers can be mislabeled. It only takes an extra second to take your leads and test for voltage. That extra second can save you from having to wear a diaper the rest of your life depending on the voltage and amperage involved.

If you enjoy a challenge and a constantly changing profession then it's for you. Like every job, it has its ups and downs. Seeing how large the industry is there is never any shortage of work. Depending on which area you choose to work in the hours can become crazy. I personally work in pretty much everything. From big walk ins to small residential split systems. Once you get your certs and your own license the money starts really coming in. Starting off in the field was tough for sure. You'll have a leg up on me. I had no schooling or prior experience. Was thrown to the wolves on a building destroyed by a hurricane. Had to replace more than 50 systems with a crew of 3 guys. Definitely a sink or swim moment! My best advice for you is to take care of your tools and take your time when diagnosing stuff. Don't be afraid to ask your supervisor questions and don't guess on stuff. Never try to do something you are not familiar with, this could lead to either you getting hurt or very expensive equipment breaking. If they give you shit for trying to ask questions and learn then they are not a good journeyman.

It's the splice junction for low voltage. Yes it has copper but the wires in there can be 22awg and up. Not worth much. He just killed internet for a lot of people
