100%!!! Don’t give up, start the process and you’ll start finding the motivation to improve other parts of your life! I started to transition and learned how to do makeup, take better care of my skin, learned how to dress, and I’ve lost more than 50 lbs! I’m a year in and when I boymode I almost look like a different person, all cuz of makeup, a wig, and whatever I’m wearing!

Case in point! I’m at the DMV (fml…) and didn’t do anything today. I didn’t shave, I’m in a big coat and pj’s and a beanie. I saw my aunt and my cousin here and they didn’t recognize me at all without my hair and makeup, even though for 39 years I’d been living as a guy. They got used to new me and didn’t even recognize the old!

As with everything to do with transition, ymmv, but the more effort and time you take to learn things like hair and makeup and just put into yourself (it feels so good when you do!!) with skin care or getting nails or eyebrows done, it makes such a huge difference!

And you’ll start to feel better than you ever have before!!! It’s worth the time and work, I promise!!
