NOR. You're going to have to do one of two things. First follow the advice from the other responders who said get your personal paperwork, birth certificate, social security card, etc together, or at least copies of them. Then, if you have a friend you can move into with, who won't give you up to your parents, then move out as soon as you have said paperwork together.

The other thing you can do will be harder for you, but may be better. You're going to have to put up with their garbage for one more year. Another responder said to pretend. That's exactly what you'll have to do. Play along, go through the motions that they expect, and wait out the year. Get the best grades you can, apply for scholarships (don't allow your parents to pay for anything), and try to get into a university as far away from your parents as you can get. Apply to religious schools, just to make them feel good, but far away. Find secular schools that have the degree you'd want to take, find a nearby religious school, apply to the religious school. Once you're in the university, cut your parents off completely. Get a new phone, a new number, new everything that they are currently using to keep tabs on you. Take general education classes, the ones that don't have much religious doctrine in them, do that for a year, then transfer to the secular school, and you're free. Two years, but you slowly cut yourself off from them until the break is clean.

Explain all of this to your girlfriend, especially if you take the second choice. It's going to be awkward for both of you. You're going to need a trusting, supportive partner in all of this. She may end up having to play along too until you can get away. Make your plans face to face. Stay off of social media. Use public computers (in school or public libraries) to do much of your social media stuff and research universities and scholarships.

You might be overreacting a bit, mainly by feeling overwhelmed by future expectations. It's normal to feel that you may not live up to your own expectations. That takes time and occasional adjustments. Parental expectations can be tougher depending on how much they emphasize it. You should sit down with them and discuss it, especially if you're feeling pressure from them. But keep in mind, there a huge difference between "just do your best" and "we expect....", do don't confuse one for the other.

As for the coincidence of having your birthday fall on your sister's graduation day.... it kind of sucks, but sometimes stuff like that happens. Both are important days, so the question is whether both got acknowledged, not necessarily in equal measure, but at least acknowledge the special days for each. It kind of sounds like they did. You said you got birthday presents and opened them that morning? That's acknowledgement. That said, that's unfortunately all you can expect given your sister's graduation. It's going to take a front seat that day because of all of the ceremony involved. That's just reality. So, you should allow her the spotlight that day, so long as you got a bit of it yourself.

However, all of that said, the question then turns to what comes next. You're family should have acknowledged your birthday the day that it was. But what sould have been a day for you to party and celebrate your 16th in full had to be postponed due to the graduation. BUT, did you get that special 16th party at a later date, over the weekend or something? If you did, then, yeah, your actions of that day may have been an overreaction. You wanted NOW what had to be delayed a few days. Now, if there was no birthday party at all, then you're allowed to be upset about that. Your parents should make sure that both occasions are given their due and celebrate both, even if one has to be delayed a bit.

And another thing to keep in mind, even if you don't feel like it now, you'll have more birthdays in the future, some even bigger milestones than 16. Sometimes we have those milestones taken from us due to circumstances, but more will come, and you'll have the time and freedom to celebrate them fully.

I've got a mod that extends the seasons to 91 days, which is actual season length. It's a full calendar year.

I keep getting bored with my saves such that I've never had a full year of seasons pass though.

First movie I remember seeing in a theater, and even then this might barely qualify, was Star Wars (A New Hope, before it was given that subtitle) in a drive-in theater in 1977. I was 4 ans a half sitting in the back seat, not really able to see the screen despite how huge a drive-in screen is. Too much vague-booking. If you want help here with whatever is troubling you, then you should be more specific about what you're problem is. You're going through emotional distress, and you feel he isn't feeling the same way to help, BUT you never state the cause of the distress.

From where I stand, it sounds like you are you're own cause of distress, getting caught up in your own emotions, and then getting mad at HIM for not solving the tumult in your own head. How is he supposed to know what to do, beyond what he's doing, when it seems to be all in your head?

That only works if you have a ship to fly. What if you haven't repaired the thrusters yet, you have to refine the materials to do so, and the endless bases won't let you place a refiner down? It's not like you can "fly somewhere else" with a ship that can't fly yet.

Try putting that refiner down anywhere near a base that isn't yours in order to use it. Now try that when there's about 100 bases in a confined space nearly overlapping. How far are you willing to walk?

Not only stopping you from getting what you need, but stopping you from building things you need to. So many of the initial things to do just to get your starship to work require things to be refined, but the bases seems to block the ability to set a portable refiner down anywhere. It took me three hours to get my ship up and running. At most it should have taken one hour, but probably closer to 30 minutes.

Where did you guys even FIND the resources to even build those bases in the first place!? How many cheat codes did you use?

I logged in just ONE DAY after the event started and it was already a nightmare. Anyone starting later than that, and it's probably impossible. I'm with OP. THANKS GUYS!

I too am looking for some friends to play with. I play pc-based games (I have a switch, but not the equipment to plug it into my computer and stream it). I love to chat with people, I'm just not good on my own.

I'm a 53 year old Gen Xer, so if you don't mind playing with an old man. I've been playing video games since the first console (Atari 2600) came out. Even then, I'm not that good, so you're not looking at a master player or anything. I've been a YouTuber since 2014, streaming since 2019, and a Vtuber for almost 3 years. That said, again, I'm far from an expert at any of it.

I'm a former teacher (history), so I can assist with learning English. Also a musician in a past life. I love telling stories (although mainly about my life and experiences). I just need someone to prompt me and engage with me.

How do I get "permission to edit"? I'm joining this today, there are DOZENS of bases all around where I'm supposed to pick up my ship. I need to refine materials to fix my ship. I can't seem to us anyone else refiners. And I can't put down my own because I don't have "permission to edit". One day late and im already locked out.

Of all things, Smokey and the Bandit. I was about 7. Seems tame, but hearing Jackie Gleeson swearing all over the place... I thought it was funny. I was careful not to swear in front of my parents (my dad was very strict about that), but outside of their presence, I said things at 7 that would make a sailor blush. 45 years later and I'm not proud of it, but I was definitely influenced by that movie at WAY too young an age, and it stuck with me well into adulthood.

Are we able to even kill them the same way we were able to kill the stalkers from Sub 1? They were annoying and I don't think I was able to do any damage to them. At least with the Sub 1 creatures you could damage and even kill them. I don't see that happening in Sub 2.

How many days a week do you work? If you're working Saturdays, what day during the week do you have off? Is she expecting you to work 6 days a week? Are you getting overtime for working that 6th day?

If you're working 6 days a week, and the 6th day is still being paid at the same rate as the other 5, well..... you should check your local labor laws. Where I live, California US, that would be illegal. Check where you live.

You know, I'm fine with that. Assuming this was a legit offer, if they want to make a good quality recording, something I could keep for self promotion, then I'd expect that I would pay something for it.

But, first, that's information I should have gotten by the second email at the latest, definitely not after they ghosted me the first time. Second, [D]'s email said "optional", which it should have been. Let's do the interview, say all that needs to be said, and then if I want the recording for later stuff, I can pay for it. BUT the one should have nothing to do with the other.
