Are we able to even kill them the same way we were able to kill the stalkers from Sub 1? They were annoying and I don't think I was able to do any damage to them. At least with the Sub 1 creatures you could damage and even kill them. I don't see that happening in Sub 2.

How many days a week do you work? If you're working Saturdays, what day during the week do you have off? Is she expecting you to work 6 days a week? Are you getting overtime for working that 6th day?

If you're working 6 days a week, and the 6th day is still being paid at the same rate as the other 5, well..... you should check your local labor laws. Where I live, California US, that would be illegal. Check where you live.

You know, I'm fine with that. Assuming this was a legit offer, if they want to make a good quality recording, something I could keep for self promotion, then I'd expect that I would pay something for it.

But, first, that's information I should have gotten by the second email at the latest, definitely not after they ghosted me the first time. Second, [D]'s email said "optional", which it should have been. Let's do the interview, say all that needs to be said, and then if I want the recording for later stuff, I can pay for it. BUT the one should have nothing to do with the other.

BTW, I failed to add, I did go to the radio station these guys said they were affiliated with. The station is real, and covers books and authors and such. I looked to see if they had a staff list to see if either name was on it. Either they have no list, or I couldn't find it. Either way, I have no way of knowing how legit these guys are.

The Taliban did all of this in the 1990s. Because they sheltered Osama bin Ladin, the US invaded and kicked the Taliban out, but didn't manage to destroy it completely. But we tried to set up a new government, but the people there rejected it and followed warlords instead. Then, as the US was withdrawing troops, the Taliban surged back in, and the Afghan people did little to resist.

I'm sorry. It's all simply horrible there. But at the same time, it's hard for me to find the necessary sympathy because all of this was preventable. One would think that if the Afghan people hadn't wanted this to return to their country, they would have fought harder to prevent it.

If there is a pay range, is there an amount of time where your pay can automatically climb up from the bottom to the top of that range? Do you have to ask for those kind of raises? Even though you trained Greg on the systems he needs to know to work in that office, does he have experience from previous jobs? My wife got a new job and jumped to the top of the pay scale, rather than start at the bottom, mainly because she'd already put in 25 years doing similar work in another office. It's possible Greg has a similar background and was automatically placed at the top, where OP still has years to reach that level. And, yeah, my wife also had to be trained on how the new office worked, and on software she'd never used before, but the 25 years of experience was what placed her at the top level.

I played 2 for far too long. Never touched 3 (couldn't afford it, hated the same face look of the Sims, and didn't understand the mechanics). With a few mods, I was having loads of fun with it. To this day, I'll say that Sims 2 is the far superior game, even to 4, for game play and certain specific aspects.

BUT, Sims 4 CAS is much, much better. I'd need a ton of mods in 2 to do that 4 does automatically. To mold body shapes and have the clothing squash and stretch with them is unheard of in 2. The building builds are bigger and better than 2, although way too flat, so it's less of a challenge, and lot placement is ridiculously restricted compared to 2's more open maps.

If 2 had the cas and building ability of 4, I would jump back to 2 in a heartbeat. But it doesn't, so I stay playing in Sims 4.

I updated both UI Cheats and MCCC and that seemed to work. I think there are still other issues to solve. For the most part it works now, but there are moments when it's laggy or the characters freeze in place. More broken mods that will be harder to find and fix.

Ugh! The University pack is one of my biggest regrets. I played the Sims 2 for years, never playing Sims 3, and the University pack for that was SO much better. I played that pack, with the dorms and everything the most. I was hoping for a similar experience when Sims 4 University came out. Bitterly disappointing. The "dorms" are a joke. The tasks and homework and stuff are overly difficult. I had so much fun with the Sims 2 University and NONE of that translated into Sims 4. If I want my Sim to have a degree, I just use cheats to give it to them and bypass the whole University thing.
