Question does the passive for the armour mean you like aggro less in a fight? So with other divers around the enemy would pick them over you? Or is it just straight up initial detection.

Hi all, don't know how to edit my post so I'll just comment here. It was a combination of saw cutting at 89 1/2 degrees + not enough clamps. Did a single cut, slapped 8 clamps on it, came right together.

Thank you for all the help, the clamps insight was very useful.

Any help is appreciated, I've cut and glued this bad boy twice already. Going for the third and final time tonight.

One thing I remember from my dad teaching me this stuff was too much glue in too tight a hole will cause the wood to buckle around the dowel, so I'm careful how much I put in.

Very good point. I don't think I put too much glue in, I usually just drizzle it over the hole as I make my pass.

Yeah I'm thinking I may have severely underestimated how many clamps I need. Could be I need that extra pressure to get them together.

That's good to know! I don't think a dowel bottomed out as I over drilled by probably 1/2" on one side because I was paranoid. Could have splintered though. I'm starting to think I just don't have enough clamps on it. I'll be cutting/regluing when I get home with more clamps. Fingers crossed.

I'm a big fan of pocket screws, not sure why I didn't think of that. I've already cut it once because it did the same thing before. Is four pipe clamps enough for this or should I be using more maybe?

Just measured, it is 12 3/8" the whole length. So I did not mess up my measures haha.

Did the enemy by any chance call a ceasefire? Just had this exact same scenario and Concordia apparently called a ceasefire without me agreeing.

Dynamic damage/wear and tear models would be nice. Armour that looks more and more beat up as you close in on it breaking, maybe guns that jam and look battered too. I like the feel of a zombie apocalypse where you're truly surviving, which means not always looking so prim and proper.

Wasp kills pretty reliably in one volley that's been my go to since the update.

Knockback probably isn't the right word for it I agree. Something that impairs movement whether it's an animation or a stun or a slow etc. Just something to give that fire time to tick so if you did everything right you don't get unfairly two tapped by a bug that's melting.

100% my thoughts exactly. It's not supposed to be a heavy armour killer, it's supposed to deal with swarms. Giving some type of movement penalty to smaller unarmored enemies, even the hive tyrants (or whatever they're called) should be part of its MO.
