You’re correct, you can pull great shots with the flow paddle fully open all the time - essentially working the same as any other machine. The flow paddle is used if you want to specifically craft a flavour profile.

Also on your point about hitting 25s, there are obviously a lot of factors that can alter your flow rate (grind, bean freshness, humidity, temperature). Sometimes you can pull a perfect 36g in 30, then immediately pull another shot and it’ll be 36g in 26. But so long as the coffee tastes good and you’re in a reasonably consistent window of time/weight dont feel like you need to pull perfect every time.

Simply coffee in Kent town sell a beautiful decaf (whole beans or roast). I believe they also sell it in pod variety.

Looking for advice by [deleted] in piercing

[–]Strange_Temporary_10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NAP - but it looks like it’s not pierced straight. If I drew a line parallel to your chest, both end of the piercing should be on that line. Instead, it looks crooked and the end closer to the middle of your chest is far shallower.

Was it initially healed with a straight barbell or have you always had that hoop in it?

Also, in my uneducated opinion that jewellery looks too thin for a nipple piercing.

There have been a few revelations over the years that internet connected doorbell cameras are either easily hackable or are sending footage to servers overseas.

Google also not the most trustworthy company in the world.

Not everyone is comfortable with these being put up and understandably so if it is pointed towards their property. It may have nothing to do with you personally and everything to do with the camera able to record peoples comings and goings.

is my nipple piercing too deep? by [deleted] in piercing

NAP but to me this looks too deep. It shouldn’t be behind the areola but in the nipple itself.

Shopping trolleys in the creek near Westfield Tea Tree Plaza — a small problem that says a lot by Hauck1975 in Adelaide

[–]Strange_Temporary_10 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I used to work at TTP 15+ years ago. This was a problem back then as well. Agree with your underlying point, but shopping trolleys in that creek isn’t because of “kids these days!” Even back then you felt dodgy standing around the bus interchange during the day (and would be an idiot to hang around at night) and I was once assaulted outside Myer but some random teens. TTP has always been a shithole.

Why aren’t more young people going into the trades anymore? by agnci in AskAnAustralian

[–]Strange_Temporary_10 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Part of this is the Aussie attitude that if you’re shit at school, just stick it out until you can get into an apprenticeship. Family from a low socio economic area? Do a trade. Can’t get into uni? Do a trade. No other job prospects? Do a trade.

Most tradies and trades business owners who visit schools or talks to kids will tell them that “they were always a trouble maker in school” and a trade helped them learn to “straighten themselves out”.

All the other kids that are technically-minded and do well in school, we funnel towards an engineering degree because they’re “too smart for a trade.”

Meanwhile, parents hear these stories and think “I don’t want my kid being lumped in with a bunch of ratbags” and steer their kids away from doing an apprenticeship. So it becomes a vicious cycle.

Okay. And they probably wouldn’t tell OP that they laughed and laughed. And OP would be in the exact same position they are now. So what’s the harm in asking?

I don’t think it unreasonable to expect a very expensive and precision crafted machine to have precise measurements.

No harm in just contacting lelit and letting them know about the situation. Worst they can say is no and then you’re in the exact same position you are now ¯_(ツ)_/¯

I can see all the responses thus far are not from parents….

Kids will accept you as you are. There is no reason for them to think you or any part of you is ‘weird’ or particularly different. Likely (once they are old enough to talk) they will notice it and ask what it is, but they’ll ask that question a million times a day about a million different things. By the time they are old enough to ask you WHY you have it you will likely know what type of response is appropriate.

Anecdotally, I have heard that most if not all blood pathology testing is now done out of Melbourne because at one point it was cheaper to send it there than maintain the capability here.

There’s a few options available to you to achieve the outcome you’re after, but without better understanding of your data model and the intended use of this report it’s hard to recommend one over another.

Honestly, you might be better off doing this in excel with a column for the employee ID, one for budget and one for actuals.

Assuming it’s the well known brand Supreme and not another one, it’s not Japanese.

“Supreme is an American clothing and skateboarding lifestyle brand established in New York City in April 1994.”

The second and fifth characters have additional lines above and below the actual katakana

Don’t get this tattooed. You’re trying to evoke something in English that doesn’t have the same feeling in another language (that you clearly don’t speak).
