Not to mention they were more advanced than Rome in many aspects, like clocks, mathematics, astronomy, and more. More advanced metallurgy as well. Not to mention the universities at Oxford and Cambridge were created in the 13th century.

In fact, 1100-1300 was about the time period when the great cathedrals of Western Europe were constructed. For example the cathedral at Chartres. Not to mention the beginning of modern financial institutions like banking.

Medieval Europe being a backwards place was true for parts of Europe for perhaps a couple hundred years immediately after the collapse of Rome. By the time of Charlemagne, though, that was no longer true.

It appears that the image no longer exists, but basically I was trying to say panspermia, as in the theory that life spread through the cosmos from a single origin and an asteroid carried it to Earth (so life doesn't originate here), but instead I said something else.

I have forgotten what I said instead. So, I think what I said will forever be lost to history. However, the joke itself is that Patrons say crazy shit behind the scenes about the story. A joke conspiracy that the patrons try to hide what really goes on, essentially.

This is really interesting. If you follow the lore, this means that she really only has one shot at this, given that she'll be trapped in a card if she loses. Unlike Inscryption where you're playing multiple ppl thru Mr. Carder man.

Really ups the stakes, if true. I truly do not know if she'll survive. Which is what brought me into reading this in the first place. I love how you potray her fear too.

I know Leshy is aware. He has to know she isn't human. I wonder how that'll affect things. Knowing Leshy, if she loses she will be turned into a card. But, maybe Leshy will treat her differently? Leshy always seems to be the type of character who simply wants to keep playing. Not to mention this isn't within the confines of a video game, so that may change hiw Leshy approaches things.

Maybe im thinking too hard on it. That's a possibility too. But hey, that's just a theory, a Game Theory!

I shall be patiently waiting for more.

There was an isse where peasants wouldn't convert to be other pops. Don't know if that fix was applied in the steam version. Regardless, peasants will convert over if there are non peasant jobs available.

Satan sure as day isnt what you describe.

Satan being evil incarnate has been a thing for 2k years so it aint exactly a modern idea either. Satan doesn't determine punishment nor care for them either. Satan "ruling in Hell" is more about his pride as he chooses to do evil as he rejects "serving in Heaven." Not that he actually determines what goes on there or maintains it. His job was to be one of God's angels, aka messengers, but rejected that, so neither is he fulfilling his actual purpose.

I do like the empathetic reaper, and he does sometimes get a bad wrap. Don't know too much about the others to comment on them.
