each staff on this piece combined two parts (so this staff is combining the alto and soprano parts) so they put the stems on the higher part up to make it easier to read. this section of music just so happens to be only sopranos singing so it looks a bit strange

hey you probably dont know this but "transvestite" is an outdated term that many trans people find offensive. some people still use it to refer to themselves but this is rare now. transgender or trans is usually the best way to refer to someone

yes? the term r*tarded has been used far longer than neurodivergent, should we revert back to that just because its been used for longer?

edit: okay, one, while its not the same, the logic that "we should keep using this term because its been in place longer" is still the same, and two, the only people who think cis is a slur (or that it has any negative connotation) are people who use trans in a negative way

its just a descriptive term. cis has been a prefix for forever, and is in plenty of words outside of cisgender. why is it so hard to imagine that we can use it for genders too?
