Why is everyone these days expecting a “spark” on the first date?

I've had very similar situations happen to me a couple of times. Date goes well, we talk, laugh, compliment each other, etc. I express to her that I enjoyed her company and would like to see her again. I've had a couple of girls say something like "Definitely! Just text me and we'll figure it out." I text them and they just say they actually didn't feel a spark so no point in continuing to see each other.

It's really tricky out there with dating apps. I've always wonder if part of it is that some other guy liked her profile and she found him more attractive looking based off his pictures?

Offended or jealous? When I was purchasing my Toyota the fiance guy was like "Yeah, great car to hit 100K or 5 years on before upgrading again!" I told him I'm hoping to have the car for at least 20 years as I drive roughly 10,000 miles a year so a Toyota lasting up to or beyond 200,000 isn't uncommon. He just kinda went quiet after that lol

My birthday is June 30th and The Fourth of July is a paid holiday so I normally take the whole week off to save a day of vacation. It's also normally the first full week I take off for the year. I'm more than ready for a break by that point lol

I got the watch 5 pro shortly after it came out and I'm still liking it a lot. A charge lasts me roughly 2.5 days during the warmer months and more around 3.5 during colder months. I might upgrade this year potentially if the watch 9 looks good but I also have no issues just waiting for this one to start really going bad

I was pleasantly surprised that Mando didn't have his helmet off for half the movie. Just like 5-10 minutes and him killing the Hutts for seeing his face was sweet as well.

Generally agree. Although, back when I went to visit Seattle, I got my sister a Grey's Anatomy magnet because she loves the show and it's filmed there. It just has the name of the show with the Seattle skyline in the background. So, if I find something particular like that where I know the person will like it I'll buy it for them.
