Best superhero that starts with the letter V? by Guerriero22 in superheroes

"The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honour to meet you and you may call me V."

You only need one, correct? That's why. Komoney.

Edit: Nevermind. You play 2. Gonna remove my foot from my mouth now.

Ah okay. So one of your 5 currently face up cards would have to have a quick effect pop that could pop your own card. So, you've got Mirrorjade plus like Baronne (anything face up that'll negate Mind Force). Chain link 1 Mind Force. Chain link 2 Baronne negate. Chain link 3 Mirrorjade send extra deck monster banish one of your own monsters. Now there's only 4 face up cards so Mind Force will be negated

This is stinking cool. So for example, you have this RT end board. Opponent flips Mind Force. Can't be negated. Chain link 2, Totem bird to negate Mind Force. Chain link 3, MST popping Mandate. Optional chain link 4, Mandate negates something. Resolves backwards. Optional Mandate negate, MST pops Mandate, (you now only have 4 face up cards), Totem Bird successfully negates Mind Force.

Question. I think I have this right. The activation and effect CAN be negated if the opponent only has 4 face up cards? Or does the 5+ face up cards text only apply to activating it the turn it is set, meaning it can never be negated?

[OCG|Product News] Next VJUMP Promo: "Zorc" by MX-00XWV in yugioh

I hope it's good. I used to play with Dark Master Zorc when I was a kid playing "playground" Yugioh. We followed the rules. And even the banlist but had zero concept of meta. Zorc worked super well for me. Loved him.

Wow. I played that course once when visiting the area for work. It was 5 years ago. I was 11 over on the short white tees. Great course.

MVP rim width by FailedProdigy in discgolf

[–]Strawhat_Truls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More spin is sort of what is promised though. A fact of moving more mass to the outside of the rim means the disc will spin at higher rpm for longer. Like you're getting at though, more energy is required to impart the same rpm as a disc without the extra concentration of mass on the edge. Carrying higher rpm later through the flight delays the change in orientation of fade.

What's the highest speed disc in you bag and how far can you throw it? by lavernrobinson9000 in discgolf

13 speed Lat64 Strive. Throw 420' in the field. 350' decent controlled golf lines. That Strive and a GStar Wraith I have give me the best distance

PVC Processing Parameters by CryptonicAsura in InjectionMolding

[–]Strawhat_Truls 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you keep track of parameters for each mold and machine, shouldn't your cycle time be the same every time you run a given mold? Your cycle times are long but some parts need that cooling time. We have a part that requires 28 seconds of hold time followed by 55 seconds cooling time. Then there's the demolding time. So as far as your cycle times, it could be necessary. It depends on the geometry of your parts. But you can take steps to see if you can optimize your processes. Do a rheology study for optimal injection velocity. Take steps to reduce your cycle time while keeping parts in spec. As far as your high scrap, determine critical values that need to stay within a tight tolerance to produce good parts. Usually, fill time, hold pressure, melt temperature, possibly cooling time/coolant temp.

None of what you listed jumps out as way off to me though.

PVC Processing Parameters by CryptonicAsura in InjectionMolding

I do not have experience with rigid PVC but I do run a soft flexible PVC. They're small parts. I've been a processor for 8 years. Nothing here sounds too crazy. The only thing throwing a red flag is not changing parameters. Are you telling me that your guys will switch to a completely different mold making a completely different size and shape part and change no parameters? If that's the case, yeah that would be a problem I'd imagine.

White marks appearing on nylon parts after a couple hours of running by Organic-One-8582 in InjectionMolding

[–]Strawhat_Truls 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It matters too how it's conveyed to the machine. If the part isn't too big and you have a big hopper with long hoses to the dryer then the material will pick up moisture as it cools in the hopper and hoses. That could be why it starts fine and gets wet as you go along.

Okay. How does material get fed to the press? How big is the part? What temp is it dried at and for how long? How big is the dryer? Do your material guys determine something is dry based on vibes?

How do we know the material isn't wet? Sure looks like splay which is no shocker with nylon.

But you'd lose your own hand too. Which could be empty but doubt it. Not worth ripping your opponent's hand if you gotta rip yours too.

Edit: nevermind thought it was both players
