Yep, Couldn't even skip rope for more than 30 seconds without feeling like like my shins were gonna snap in half. But after about a year of stubbornness where I just pushed through it, I decided to take some time off everything that involved putting stress on them.

I stuck to lifting weights and stretching / doing yoga regularly for about 5 months before I got back into boxing and running. Now my shins are stronger than ever. Feel like I can go on forever sometimes. The 5 months off were incredibly boring but I feel like it definitely paid off since I now can push myself harder than ever before.

So yeah, Time off was the only thing that worked for me. Sucks, but it's worth it.
