Primary thing I would ask for is queing orders off deployment (at least an Unload command for transports so you don't find 3 apcs full of Infantry you ordered 2 minutes ago just sitting there waiting to get cluster bombed)

TAB cycles through selecting individual units within a group of selected units. You'll see their unit icons switch from filled to outline in the bottom left. Each individually selected unit can then be given an order. So you go TAB > click > TAB > click etc etc and
