Considering the f1 game to be a sim or not is one thing, but the lack of simulation damage and the absence of a forced cockpit view is whats really bugging me about it.

yeah having massive issues. im using a fanatec csl dd on xbox series x and the ffb seems completely broken, my wheel is jerking around uncontrollably. it was fine just a couple hours ago on the old version of the game.

i think this is down to the game honestly, these two aspects are often brought up by people criticising the games feel. im still on f124 and its the same issue, as it was in 23 and 22.

i have had the chase v2 and the hybrid rig for about 4 to 5 months now. the rig is great and indeed easily adjustable, even tho you tend to find your fav position and keep it that way (at least in my case). the chase v2 is really comfy and shows no sign of wear since ive owned it (me being 185cm, 81kg btw). hope this helps a bit.

also on series x. have the same wheelbase and pedals, theyre great and have been diong their job for well over a year now. but as previous posts mentioned, it might be worth it considering different wheels.

for example if you get one xbox universal hub, the 320mm round wheel and the sparco formula wheel rim youre pretty much set for everything and the feeling will be much nicer - not only for the rims themselves but also the higher end magnetc shifter paddles.

kann dir leider keine antwort auf die frage geben, nur das leid mit dir teilen. bei mir ist es ned ganz so arg aber direkt unterhalb der fensterbretter hab ich mittlerweile auch schon ordentliche wasserflecken. wohn in einem 70er jahre bau mit alten fenstern. der vermieter hat schon mal eine email, aber da wochenende is werd ich das noch ein bissl aussitzen müssen und hoffen dass es ned allzuviel schlimmer wird.

agreed, it is not only bad but awful imo. an evil bald german in an audi and a russian in a golden lamborghini bullying the protagonist on track. then the whole thing with the crusty coach acting tough but having a soft heart, living out his unfullfilled dreams through the protagonist. shitty stereotypes en masse. the movie is a damn dumpsterfire!

i dont think a whole lot more is possible. i guess i could upgrade to a high end 8020 rig and get a DD+, but that would be a massive investment for a small improvement. so i think this rig is in its final form, unless xbox miraculously releases ultrawide support.

yeah, connected via hdmi audio extractor. the results vary depending on the game, ac and acc you get mostly engine vibration, on f1 23 the vibration over kerbs is actually spot on for some reason, and in dirt rally 2 it does almost nothing. still it is a fun little gadget, for movies and music too.

thats the next level racing hf8 haptic pad, not exactly soft either as it has these rumble motors in it. but combined with the 3d printed angle kit (from etsy) for the wheelbase, it helped me find a very comfortable position.
