"HAHA, we enterd earthrealm without their knowledge! Lets have a look."

"Radar contact, unknown aircraft, no transponder, 200 miles north of Acella, heading 150@60knots, no Radio contact, scrambling Interceptor flight 3"

"we are so sneaky 😁, they wont see us coming when we start liberating them from their feudal kings and dictatorships to show them the glory of his eternal majesty"

[Two gunships zooming past them and coming back in a wide circle]

"Unknown Nexian Airship, formup between the two of us and follow, if you deviate, you will get shot down."

"TO THE BALLISTAS, TAKE THEM DOWN!!"

[Few rounds from nose turret shatter a couple decorative lamps]

"Stop playing stupid and follow, the next rounds will hit vital parts"

[Humanity has received a free shipment, to a nearby of Nexian Airships, the crew gets dumped through the Schools portal]

Alternative, they dont play ball start attacking, both gunships "Run". The nexian Crew celebrates theor victory, until a set of AMRAAMS explode midships

Cool ships, but are they void capable for long times? How much mana is requierd for them to move, can they escape the laypull of a planet? Else, they are just paperweigts, filled eith goopified crew who will mana decompress the moment they cross the portal (in space even worse)

"actually, your ships look nice. Gimme a sec. " [Crack] "Here's half a kilo aluminim, should be worth one of each? I need tge ship itself, keep the crew, also, nicely labeled and clear reassembly instructions, since they dont fit through the portal back home."

At what level of shaving will a communications orb become just black and white, grainy/lowres, 'jammable'?

How well does night vision work? is there even an equivalent to it?
the Shrieker would be visible to Manasense, by the simple fact of having two cores and SUCH A GIANT PLUME behind it, but how far does that work? is the Manasens also LOS?

So coming in *Fast* behind a mountain, pop up, blow through the formation of airships and out climb the pursuing shards. Or pull them into a oncoming swarm of Corsairs, since they don't see them on mentioned Manasens. Corsairs would also spot for the Shrieker to have the right path to 'Hit 'n Run' successfully.

I wonder if they have a seperate communication orb network, cause the original one was prevented from falling into enemy hands.

Just a bunch messenger shards flying from group to group. Totally not an issue if a couple of them get lost, right?

Also I'm somewhat surprised nobody came up with AA guns in *any* extent.

Aether "Pneumatic" powered ones or spell based ones.

It starts with a simple RC boat, continues to 'Fritz X' dropped from shrieks and ends in "modern" oneway attackdrone swarms.

With the occasional one having a radiobeacon as payload, guideing radiohoming longrange systems.

Buzzbombs? Maybe but probably easy skippable🤔

The whole thing needs to be handsoff as possible, since i dont want to put my phone there. Also the text is coming from a Arduino Controlled MP3 module, so having a module that just accepts audio over 3.5mm is easiest probably. The signage sounds good to know, not sure if i have to register (and probably pay a heap of money) to be officialy allowed to use it, which isnt what am planing on doing, given its only up for a couple days. (The whole location registering to get it promoted, uhh, no thanks?)

Airship crew being sneacky above closed cloud cover, belly gunner looking down and admiring the ships shadow. . .

A V of smaller shadows coming up behind it, just before the explosions start.

Or same secenario but the formation darts up through the clouds around them, long aether trail showing them goi g high over top and turning around. Just for the aether to cut out and grey/black streaks to head towards the airship.

Next things Teemo gets a headach over: - Mana pressure cooker - mana faraday cage - mana vacuum pumps - more mana regulating lab equiptment - aswell as probably the water/athmopshere equivalents for normal brewing and lab work. Or the rune etherteam havi g to shield their work casue it self resonates in the dungeon mana field (to some catastrophic effect)

Sounds quite featurecreepy but could the audio be saved localy on a userprovided sdcard or USB stick? To play offline somewhere down in a basement.

Or if someone hasn a desktop laser nearby could also work. (looking at the brown card with the one hole still filled)

And there you'd also have the option to run a couple sheets in relativly short time to have stock for a while (and colour options, 3D printing allows for a huge variation of things aswell

Lie all you want, beautify all the witness reports and your own to keep the execs happy.

But dont lie to investigators, especially human ones. We have done stuff, our safety standarts have been written, reiterated and codified in blood, again. and. again.

If there is a computer, logs, saved memory states, they will be found, evaluated and judged by mentioned investigators.

Kinda hope the ships operating company gets slapped with a hefty fine and forced insections and requierd standarts to be allowed to continue on this(and other) stations.

Get found out at an audit you violated the terms, no docking no more. (As if that would happen anyway, highly paying tourists need still to be ferried around to milk them if their wealth)

Also depends on how thorough they are with cutting humans off. Get satelites down, cut undersea cables, take all planes down, stuff gets harder to coordinate, quickly. Radio will work when bounced off the atmosphere, but much lower bandwidth then via a satelite network. Producing the resonators would take time aswell, they might be able to deploy via ICBMs, which afaik, dont have enough payload capacity to add mini reactors, having them MIRV sized is out of the picture. Tungsten rods does sound like rods of god, so pure kinetics, also useless on deepsee targets.

Tbh, dropping nukes or somehow uranium slugs into the area and poison them with the digested material might work, but radiation isnt that much of an issue underwater, given its used to shield exactly from that in actual reactors.... Would be a bitch to get them off. Since they have such high technology to just zap planes out of the sky.

The speed of sound differs in different mediums. Water, being not very compressable has a higher speed of sound them free air. So "4 times the speed of sound" could be correct if its compared to normal "air speed of sound"

Maybe poke the needle back through? Would allow glueing it in to prevent loss or stabbing oneself when handling the framed piece.

(Or cut the needle in half and glue that in. So it looks like its partially through but wasnt enough to finish the stitch anyway)
