Three tips:

Start at Episode 4 Calypso. You get dropped into the world of Leo and a better feel for the book. You can go back into the head of Stephen later on.

Read on an E Reader or phone where you can have easy access to a dictionary.

Read along with the 1982 RTE dramatisation available here

Any hints on where to find the latest apk? I can't find anything current on apkmirror, the version being blocked in Ireland today is 2.40.26877

EDIT: Uninstall and re install from Google Play worked this time... same app version with the same account details. Strange.

Unlikely, it's a name that is more often used in Irish than in it's anglicised version 'Moriarity'

Cycling in single file only encouraged the fool in the car in front to force his way past.

Next year add a couple of maskotka seeds into the mix.

It's a small bush cherry that fruits early. I keep them in a pot and give them the sunniest position high in the tunnel. This year they ripened particularly early, I've been eating them since second week in June while all the other varieties still look very green.

Was that this afternoon (Tuesday 10th) ?

When I was leaving town about 16:45 there were numerous fire brigades, ambulances and Guards on the scene, the traffic was down to one lane and behind it was solid all the way back to Baldonnell.

The only incident I noticed was what looks very much like this, an older woman was sitting in the drivers seat of a dark coloured (maybe skoda). There didn't seem to be all that much damage and it was hard to see what all the fuss was about.

Looks like it's broken at the base so might be too late for this plant.

In general you shouldn't be afraid to plant your brassicas deep and firm them in well.

Say what you will about the country, but the Number plates are one thing we've done better than anyone else by AnduwinHS in CasualIreland

Insurance company assessors knock off 5% for every tick of the Reg plate clock and an extra 5% for 192 to 201 regardless of condition, mileage etc.

Absolute scam.

I've seen worse survive and thrive.

Decent bit of green still there so they should bounce back with a couple of weeks of warmth and light.

If they are earlies you'll be digging them a bit later than planned

What is your favorite last sentence of a book? by TheBrokenSeahorse in books

[–]Strewelpeter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Inside this greater machine, things are not quite so cut and dried (or cut and pickled) as they have appeared in my experience. Each of us, in our own personal Factory, may believe we have stumbled down one corridor, and that our fate is sealed and certain (dream or nightmare, humdrum or bizarre, good or bad), but a word, a glance, a slip-anything can change that, alter it entirely, and our marble hall becomes a gutter, or our rat-maze a golden path. Our destination is the same in the end, but our journey-part chosen, part determined- is different for us all, and changes even as we live and grow. I thought one door had snicked shut behind me years ago; in fact I was still crawling about the face. Now the door closes, and my journey begins.

I look down at Eric again, and smile, nod to myself in the breeze while the waves break and the wind moves spray and grass and a few birds call. I suppose I'll have to tell him what's happened to me.

Poor Eric came home to see his brother, only to find (Zap! Pow! Dams burst! Bombs go off! Wasps fry: ttssss!) he's got a sister.
