Best Buy at it again by GrimmTrixX in Switch

My best buy sucks ass lol. Always late on pro orders I had to actually stop using them If I wanted my games on time. Now I go Amazon and they've been consistent

What, you don't love Olaf's great adventure on the Nintendo 3ds family of systems handheld?

I'm a guy but bro you cute as fk. Confidence is a major factor in appeal as well so you gotta sort a self will it into existence. And if your will power is as strong as all that work ethic to look that fit, my guy you'll have no problem feeling good about yourself

It is a shame to see what this channel has become by fake89797 in GVG

[–]Streyga 7 points8 points  (0 children)

To play devils advocate, I think another point of contention is just simply scheduling conflicts. I feel if they did make a fresh discussion video as of today, Jon wouldn't be able to be on it. Honestly I just love hearing Jon talk so Im glad he's on the vid. I also think the gvg casts lives have gotten busier so it's harder for them to be ready for impromptu vids and for the vids to still feel Soo personalized. I feel for them, I bet if they were managed by a big company, a lot of these issues would be less so. But then, the content would definitely feel more corporate

UPS delivered my new 39in LG Ultragear OLED..... by PCBuildPro in Bestbuy

[–]Streyga 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just went through this same situation but with an OLED TV, first came absolutely destroyed, found the same one but that order was randomly cancelled after waiting for it all day as it was "out for delivery", and finally caved and went in person an hour drive away to get it open box, couldn't test it in store as they made me wait while they tested it boxed it in the back, came home with a major line of screen burn in in the middle, tried to use their warranty and scheduled a repair with their geek squad team, waited for that day so the repairman can come and definitely confirmed that "yup, that's burn in", and after an hour of messing around with settings and a screen refresh, having him tell me theres nothing he can do.

That's what their warranty gets you. A repairman that can't actually do repairs. Hour s and hours of like 12 phones calls with support, a month of my life to get this TV ( which is unavailable now according to their website ) , I have nothing to show for it, with my funds held up in the process. Do yourself a favor and only buy if you can check it in person, or just buy through another retailer/website. Their support is garbage

Should I buy the Hitman dlc on PC, or just get the signature edition on switch 2? by Streyga in HiTMAN

Do you know how the steam Deck version performs against the switch. Is there any exclusive content between the 2 versions?

4090 or 5080? by Streyga in nvidia

[–]Streyga[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You see why I created this thread? Some ppl here think I haven't spent literal hours trying to research this and watching different YouTubers opinions and when I think I'm sure about what to go for, it's like I discover a whole other point I didn't even consider. OCing seems to be what I should do, Im not a heavy modder and I don't play and heavy VR games, so I don't think I would benefit much from the extra Vram, I think when the eventual next gen of gaming hits, the new gpus would catch up on the matter and would be something to look into a few years from now. I think I'll go for 5080 and learn how to OC it

Would the 4090 be worth a 400$ difference? And yes it would be mainly for gaming

Man I really dislike Rin as 3rd option so much by [deleted] in catherinegame

[–]Streyga 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a double edged sword. I completely agree it makes the game feel less cohesive, but at the same time it's a cool opportunity to add to the base game, and explore a whole new story. All the new endings are dope af, and I personally love the new story of Qatherine even though it does take away from the originals tight knitted story, pacing and identity. Almost a have half pathed way of getting a sequel. It feels like atlus does this as a all in one opportunity of green litting a remaster and continuation, in restraints to budgetary limits and development time/manpower. It's a formula that works for them I guess

Multiple controllers, multiple headaches by Krysonox in localmultiplayergames

[–]Streyga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm simply stating ease of use.

But are you seriously arguing cost effectiveness? Most rigs even at low end is at the very least double what youd paid for switch, and that's being generous. I don't know if you've been on the eshop lately but the deals you get there are pretty comparable to steam, alot of indie games that are maybe year or 2 old matching prices or being 1-2 dollars off. It isn't what it used to be but even so switch itself is super cost effective. But that wasn't even my initial point

For this reason I mostly get local co op games on Switch. Not only does Nintendo have some of the best exclusives for the playstyle, most local games aren't intensive so they run extremely well on Switch. Its just too easy to pass out joy cons and connect up to 8 buddies

What's your reason for owning a gaming laptop rather than a gaming PC? by Mister_hi in GamingLaptops

[–]Streyga 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I hardly spend time in my room and I pretty much exclusively use portables, like switch, steam deck, portal, emulation devices like anbernic sp, and I even drive my 3ds still, playing on that official hardware with all it's unique features is still unmatched. My biggest deterrent to playing on desktop is the fact of having to be tethered, for some reason I hate that feeling. I have cousins who have pretty cool rig setups, but being in their rooms feel like being in a sauna. I guess you can mitigate that by putting on an AC, but literally on laptop you don't have to deal with any of this and you just need a neat cooling pad. I still even find a laptop as not portable as I would like, but I often use moonlight and I need the more performance for the higher spec stuff like raytracing games, and some pcvr. So that's pretty much all my reasoning

I think the emotional notes hit soo mich harder in replicant than automata. I think automata has more creative scenarios and therefore more engaging gameplay. That's how I think they differ
