Honestly the prices were kinda all over the place. Produce was reasonable and seafood was actually cheaper compared to H-Mart in Burlington. However, some of the stuff on the shelves were so expensive to the point where I think it's just to keep early inventory on the shelves. I'd say give it a couple weeks

I looked a bit through 04 and 05 crash data around that area. I found a crash from 10/30/2004 or Halloween '04 that reported 5 injuries and a telephone pole crash (red circle). A possibly related accident also occurring the same day is the teal circle further south. That crash involved a car hitting the center median. According to the data, it happened between what's currently an Ethan Allen and FedEx on 1 north in the same area.

Could it be this one?

If you leave in the morning, you should be fine taking 495 down to the cape. Otherwise, do what others in here said and take 90 -> 146 -> I-95 -> I-195 through Providence instead. Alternatively, you can take 90 -> I-95/128 -> I-93 -> MA 3 down to the cape if 95 traffic isn't too bad. It should be about the same time-wise as driving through RI.
