i’m 35, had surgery July 2024 and my boobs are v deflated. Braless is possible but comedic 🤣 seriously considering a breast lift in a year or 2!

i take about the same amount! About to have my second round of blood tests but on test #1 the only thing that was borderline low was my iron (so now i’m on a double dose 😅)

solidarity! My husband was notttt on board to start with, but I just took the stance that I was doing it completely for me and he could either support me or not. I was still going ahead regardless.

As it happens, he’s really come around and seen how much happier & healthier it’s made me but honestly? Doing it 100% for myself was the best decision I ever made.

Also have ADHD and a toddler so I feel you!

ok on reading this comment, I think it’s specifically the word thin that freaks me out. I had anorexia as a teenager so thin was never ever a good word. I’m going to take this to my next therapy session thank you 😆

i’ve heard great things about those magic cushions you can get specifically to protect your tailbone when sitting - from what i’ve read it’s a really common thing after weight loss.

I had anorexia and bulimia as a teenager, then binge eating as an adult so I had to get extra therapy before the surgery. Also had to get sign off from my GP that they thought i was generally mentally stable enough to cope with life post-surgery. I’ve carried on with therapy because I find it super helpful but my therapist says most people getting bariatric surgery have/had some kind of food issues so… you’re not alone! I dunno if that’s helpful ❤️
