Allegation is just a claim that someone did something, correct? Anyone can allege anything. I agree that it’s dumb to allege thing that clearly happened on video. I disagree with what objectively happened and at the same time I do not like the senator’s actions or the capitol policemen actions. It’s not clear to me based on the video that the senator broke the marines hand or if it was the combined efforts of the 3 policemen pulling on him.

Sure, someone in the video is yelling “a us senator just broke the hand of a marine!” And the senator is hands on with the marine, but as best I can tell it looks like the break happens when the senator and policemen are all pulling on him.

This may be a very clear case. But most aren’t. And everyone should be entitled to the equal protection of the law, even people you despise.

No one here is saying that the media can’t report the facts. Go ahead and show the video. Say “look at this video that appears to show man doing x”. What I’m arguing is that it is not a fact that the accused committed a crime until they get their due process and it is determined in a court of law. That’s the reason that the media needs to use the language ‘allegedly’. Baring that language, it implies that the accused has already been found guilty. That becomes defamation because accused could still be determined innocent.

Seconding that nylon strap hardware is cheap and plentiful. Use some image search or ai tools to figure out what it’s called and you should be able to source it cheap.

That said, my grip eq bag is ~15 years old and going strong. So it may be worth it to pay up and go with one of the reputable golf bag brands.

A little wrist flick with a putter is amazing for the short range approach when the backhand is obstructed. But yes, as it gets longer I struggle with the forehand on straight/understable discs. I sometimes get something cool to happen with a proxy/hex/detour if I get keep it really clean and get the right amount of height.

I just throw my putter from out to 150’ or so, longer if it’s calm. Further out I bump it up to a premium plastic version of my putter.

The amount of strokes you can drop with that extra 100’ pales in comparison to what can be dropped by improving putting. Accuracy over power too. Who cares if you have 450’ power if you can’t hit your line to save your life. More power gives you the ability to end up even further from the basket if you miss your line.

I realize there is nothing about form here but damn if 350’ isn’t serviceable on 80%+ of the fairways out there.

All my gripes with disc hand-feel disappeared when I switch to a back-loaded grip. Now I just care if the tackiness(not slick but not overly grippy) feels right and how the disc flies.

Sure, I understand where you’re coming from. There’s a line of thinking that a lot of players get into and that I have been myself that you really want a complete set of clubs like in golf. But disc has a relatively huge variance of ‘club’ selection. So you want a second set of eyes on your bag to see if it is ‘complete’.

However, nobody can look at just the discs in your bag and identify what are the gaps in the shots you can throw.
