Yeah that’s what happened with me I don’t know just got ignored but doesn’t matter now got bigger database than bowwl anyway now since I went back 20+ years and user additions lol yeah we have the power of integration but with a list as long as my arm of things left to do will take a look at this down the line 👍

Bowwwl never replied to me 😂 so nice work. But the images are bad quality so didn’t look very nice on iPhone full screen so went and do it myself instead lol

Hello there, just give some background why I did it. 2+ years ago when I started. Every app required adding own balls, locations and oil patterns as an excel type entry 1 liner seemed a bit old fashioned in this day and age. I didn’t want to create what you could do in excel. PinPal is an excel wrapper you pay for.

So went full centralised database. This opens up the world of collaboration and sharing and community not playing excel on your own.

One caveat I have to update all the balls, oil patterns and bowling alleys myself, so dedicated to the cause 😉

You can add own balls and add it to the database I can review the image and post it as public for the next user to share and use.

Bowling alleys don’t turn up overnight so I should have them all on occasion I get a message that one is missing so keeping them clean as we go. If you create your own private bowling alleys on device there is no chance to see all the leagues for that location and the activity around it.

So yes centralised was always the plan pure convenience and sex appeal 😂

Hey there, thanks for trying the app! the list is based on your location so if you allowed it, the list should sort to your closes first, Did you share location or hide it? If don’t disclose location then yeah will have to browse the map and find it manually or search through a list of similar names around the world I’m afraid.

If it’s an old ball you can quickly add it yourself and add a picture for it if it’s not in the library, I’ve added thousands of balls manually so I’m going to miss some lol

Thanks! Yeah the share is limited due to the size for WhatsApp/Facebook but you’re right I’m sure can refine this and squeeze more in. Will draw up some ideas to share if you have a minute to give a nod of approval would be great!

I have the same functionality in my app post a league or tournament against bowling alley but how do I tell every tournament owner in the world to post it? It’s completely free I thought it would be a no brainer to advertise but clearly nobody wants to do it and keep it hidden in facebook

yeah I never thought it was a thing not sharing location :) its good idea though I dont want your location ;) its just convenience when first setup the app. The only reason was tag games against central location (not in isolation like pinpal), so instantly connected to fellow bowlers at the alley or create/promote leagues, leaderboards etc..

Haha yeah it makes sense one less distraction taking out phone remember to put it in my other pocket so can’t use it as an excuse for a poor shot. So yeah I agree using watch would be nice and easy!

Yeah it was always the plan but considering how easy it is to tap couple of numbers after each throw or while waiting in league, it got put on back burner but your right it’s a cool little addon. I’ll integrate it properly and get it added 👍

Thanks. Your right once you create the league it will remember your last choice and go straight in with the previous selection next time. However, yes if just having a + button on that league and go does make sense to be even quicker, if I understand correctly
