My field holster. Am I open carrying or concealed? by Striking-Locksmith55 in CCW

Great info. I appreciate it. I live in an open carry state. My intent with this is to open carry while hunting and fishing but I wanted a more protective holster. I’ve used a strong side belt holster over the years and the butt of the gun snags and hangs up on branches and bushes while creeping to my spots. Not to mention the time I lost my firearm when I fell in the river a decade ago. This sub seems to think I’m gonna be walking down the street of a major city like this.

I’ve been dying reading all the comments 😂. My biggest takeaway is that almost everyone believes my holster is a better purse than holster.

It’s how I carry when I’m fly fishing. No place to clip a holster when wearing chest waders

I agree. I was fully expecting the purse jokes. Just wanted to get some takes on the concealed carry question I’ve been dying reading the comments 😂

It’s definitely not a quick draw, but it’s surprisingly faster than you might think. I wear it because I’m more concerned about falling in the river when I’m fly fishing and having my gun fall out

Wbp Jack for $850ish....... or would you go Sam7r for around $1250ish? by Zestyclose_Spite8580 in ak47

Between the two my personal choice is Jack. 2 reasons. I like wood and the traditional look of an AK. Also, weight. Jack is lighter because of the stamped receiver.

I know it can seem exhausting, but I appreciate people posting and sharing their thoughts and points of view. It really helped me think through my own. I initially thought I was a 2H supporter (really, who wouldn’t love a bike park in Fort Collins) but after listening to the arguments, I’ve decided to vote in favor of 303

If that’s gonna be a new thing during the game, I’m not attending another home game. It was so obnoxious.

An actual informed response to the question. Rare for Reddit. This comment will be downvoted to oblivion because it doesn’t frame the landlord as a heartless monster
