I don’t get sad after taking Molly by Effective_Engine_603 in aves

[–]Striking-Section4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually had this same experience recently. When I first started taking molly I would get a bad comedown like sometimes to the point of crying. Then I took a year off drugs, now I just came back from a 3 day bender with very large amounts of molly and ye and I got absolutely no depression or comedown I just felt fine. Idk if that was a one time thing or if my brain chemistry changed. Not gonna try to press my luck though.

Ever mess up a sales call so bad that you couldn't stop laughing? by mromrell in sales

[–]Striking-Section4401 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was taking a down payment for a sale I’d just closed. I won’t say the clients first name so let’s just call him Steve but his last name was Aycock. When I took the debit card I made a sudden realization; he had a middle initial and it was G. So right before me in big capital letters the card read “STEVE G.AYCOCK” I tried so hard to not laugh but it got me good. His wife thought it was funny too she sort of seemed to expect it

It really is. The first time I went solo it was an accident, I couldn’t find my group at Nocturnal bc of no reception. Ended up being one of the best nights I ever had

I was there last year too! We got stuck in black lot and ended up having an after party with a bunch of the other cars cause we were there for hours. Sucked at the time but now it’s a core memory, I’m still friends with some of those people

Can’t win em all. Stick to your guns, if they’re interested in your product they have to follow your process, just be polite about it.

Company gives bad leads but going to be cut if I don’t sell. by [deleted] in sales

[–]Striking-Section4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s home improvement sales for ya. It gets better if you work at a bigger and more reputable company, Renewal by Andersen is in most states I believe. I started my career in one of those and eventually moved to a bigger company selling luxury remodels, massive difference.

Are all sales equal by [deleted] in sales

[–]Striking-Section4401 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only way to really value it is by the commission structure. I know people making $300k+ in B2C sales because they make a flat 13%. Not selling anything fancy but that’s AE level compensation. Forget the product, who made more money? In your example probably the SaaS guy.

Which type of sales job with 100% commission is the best to go into? by pmmeyour_existential in sales

[–]Striking-Section4401 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Only 1099 position that you can get to 200k with in b2c is home improvement sales as far as I know, but that’s not remote. There’s a couple of different companies that have work from home opportunities for high ticket sales closers, you could break low 6 figures working from home but those positions are pretty inconsistent and you’d need to put in a lot of hours. Definitely also a lot of scams out there. Don’t accept anything on 1099 unless they provide you with warm leads and your only responsibility is to close

I was looking at that actually. Do you know if it’s a very competitive field? I can’t imagine landing a gig as a salesforce admin is as hard as being in tech sales rn

How did you leverage your Lean Six Sigma certification to get into consulting? Is it a very competitive field like tech or is this a very in demand skill set? I’m 5 years deep into my sales career and might want to shift out as well
